Abstract: [Problem to be Solved] The present invention reduces usage of sodium chloride by adding magnesium chloride, and overcomes problems occurring in using magnesium chloride. [Solution] The present inventors have found that when magnesium chloride is added instead of sodium chloride to noodle strings and a reducing sugar is further added, preferable well-cooked feeling and appearance are imparted in subsequent production process for instant noodles, and thus, the present invention was accomplished. Specifically, the present invention relates to noodle strings for use in production of instant noodles, the noodle strings containing a raw material powder, magnesium chloride and a reducing sugar.

Abstract: There is provided a saddle-type vehicle that can secure a sufficient space below a fuel tank and efficiently arrange a fuel filter in a vehicle space while a fuel tank and the fuel filter are made closer to each other. The saddle-type vehicle has a seat frame 17 for supporting a seat 12, and a suspension bracket 16 extending upwards from the rear end of a main frame 14. The front portion of the seat frame 17 is secured to the upper portion of the suspension bracket 16, the front end portion of the seat frame 17 extends to the rear end portion of the fuel tank 24, and a space 241 is formed in front of the seat frame 17 and below the fuel tank 24 by the main frame 14, the suspension bracket 16 and the fuel tank 24.

Abstract: An engine supported on a main frame with an air cleaner disposed above a cylinder head. Air is supplied from an upper direction via an intake passage. A canister is supported above a crankcase and on the side surface of the main frame. A purge pipe connects between a front end portion of the canister and the intake passage. The purge pipe has a short length and includes a purge control valve in an intermediate portion and includes a first purge pipe for connecting the purge control valve with the canister, and a second purge pipe for connecting the purge control valve with the intake passage. Evaporated fuel from a fuel tank is supplied to the canister via a discharge pipe. A drain tube is connected at the rear end of the canister and at the lower position relative to the connecting portion of the first purge pipe.

Abstract: An electric motorcycle includes an electric motor for generating a traveling driving force, a battery for supplying electricity to the electric motor, and a case member for accommodating the electric motor and the battery therein. The battery includes a plurality of battery modules, which are disposed in the case member at positions forward of and above of the electric motor. Such arrangement of the electric motor and the battery in the case member helps to centralize mass in a vehicle body of the motorcycle, as well as simplifying assembly of the motorcycle.
