  • Publication number: 20020032739
Abstract: A method for transmitting/receiving text data in an Internet-accessible portable terminal that permits transmitting/receiving message data without any limitation in a total number of characters contained in the message data. The portable terminal 1 is connected to a POP server 8 via a gateway server 7, in which long text data are divided into a plurality of segment data each having a data size displayable on the portable terminal 1, paging-processed, and then, transmitted to the portable terminal 1, thereby all of the long text data, not depending on a total number of characters contained, can be looked through. Also, since a plurality of text input boxes that are used to input main text data are provided, a limitation in number of characters to be input in a Web browser is resolved and permits transmission of long text data regardless of a total number of characters contained.

  • Publication number: 20010056495
Abstract: An authentication method capable of logging in a desired server which requires user authentication in a short time in a simple manner, while improving security of an ID and a password is provided. A user operates a portable terminal 1, and then selects a screen memo function so as to display a screen memo list on a display 2. The user selects a server number of a desired server from this screen memo list. Subsequently, a key code input screen is displayed, and the user inputs a key code used to log in the server from an input key 4, whereby a log-in process is carried out, and after the completion of the log-in process, the portable terminal 1 displays Compact HTML received from the server on the display 2.

  • Patent number: 6147302
Abstract: A frequency-selective electromagnetic wave shielding material is used for shielding areas or devices from electromagnetic waves. The electromagnetic wave shielding material has a substrate with a plurality of electroconductive loop parts which are spatially allocated on the substrate, wherein each of the electroconductive loop parts is insulated from all other electroconductive loop parts.

  • Patent number: 5539148
Abstract: As for an electric apparatus having a case formed of electro-magnetic wave passing-through material, in order to provide an electro-magnetic wave shielding structure being capable to effectively prevent the leakage therefrom of an electro-magnetic wave generated therein, an electro-magnetic wave reflecting layer, namely, a conductive layer is formed on an inner face of the case and further, on a surface of the conductive layer, a magnetically losing layer containing Mn--Mg--Zn group soft ferrite particles having 1 to 20 .mu.m average diameter by 70 to 90 weight % at a thickness exceeding 80 .mu.m is formed, so as to repeatedly absorb the inner generated undesired electro-magnetic wave therein through repeated reflection between the conductive layer and the absorbing layer.
