  • Patent number: 9669819
Abstract: In a state of reverse driving with load operation of an engine, an upper limit torque Temax of the engine is set to cause a total torque of a torque demand Tr* and a cancellation torque for cancelling a torque applied to a driveshaft accompanied with load operation of the engine to be output from a second motor to the driveshaft. A product of the upper limit torque Temax of the engine and an upper limit rotation speed Nemax of the engine is set to an upper limit power Pemax. A target power Pe* of the engine is then set in a range of not greater than the upper limit power Pemax. The engine, a first motor and the second motor are then controlled such as to cause the target power Pe* to be output from the engine and such as to output the torque demand Tr* to the driveshaft.

  • Patent number: 8577527
Abstract: A drive control device which estimates an engine torque during traveling in a fixed gear ratio mode is disclosed. The drive control device includes the engagement mechanism including the revolution component revolved by the torque of the engine and the fixed component that engages with the revolution component, the torque applying unit which applies torque to the revolution component and the first transmitting control unit which engages the engagement mechanism to make the engagement mechanism receive the reaction force of the torque. The torque estimating control unit executes control of torque applied to the revolution component by the torque applying unit during executing the control by the first transmitting control unit to detect the phase change between the revolution component and the fixed component and estimates the torque of the engine based on the phase change and torque applied by the torque applying unit.

  • Patent number: 7749133
Abstract: A driving device of the invention has a clutch 40 and a continuously variable transmission 50. The clutch 40 couples and decouples a rotating shaft 24 or an output shaft of a motor 30 with and from a driveshaft 22. The continuously variable transmission 50 has an input shaft connected to the rotating shaft 24 and an output shaft connected to the driveshaft 22 via a gear mechanism 52. A spring 36 is attached to a rotor 31 of the motor 30 to apply a pressing force and cause the clutch 40 to couple the rotating shaft 24 with the driveshaft 22 in response to a relatively small output torque of the motor 30. With an increase in output torque of the motor 30, a thrust force produced in the motor 30 moves the rotating shaft 24 against the pressing force of the spring 36 to cause the clutch 40 to decouple the rotating shaft 24 from the driveshaft 22. The output torque of the motor 30 is then transmitted to the driveshaft 22 with a gear change of the continuously variable transmission 50.

  • Patent number: 7196492
Abstract: An electric vehicle 10 includes a power supply apparatus 15. The power supply apparatus 15 includes a fuel cell system 22, capacitor 24 and secondary battery 26 that are connected in parallel to wiring 50. When a drive motor is performing regeneration, the capacitor 24 is collecting the regenerated electric power. The fuel cell system 22 generates electric power in accordance with the load demand. The switches 20 between the fuel cell and the wiring are closed when the load becomes small and the regenerated voltage attains a predetermined level. As a result, the generation of electric power by the fuel cell system is suspended under low-load conditions where the energy efficiency of the fuel cell system 22 is low.

  • Patent number: RE40899
Abstract: In a card connector of the present invention, an eject plate has a push-moving portion, an engaging portion and a spring portion, and can be switched to two positions by a heart cam. In an electric connecting state of the card and the connector, the eject plate is set to a second position, and its engaging portion is engaged with a notch formed in the card, and the release of the engagement is prevented by a guide wall, and no card can be pulled out even when strong pulling-out force is applied to the card (full lock). When the eject plate is moved from the second position to a first position by a tension spring, the card is pushed out by the push-moving portion. The engaging portion is also engaged with the notch of the card in this first position, but the release of the engagement is allowed by the wall portion, and the card can be pulled out by elastically deforming the spring portion (half lock).
