    Abstract: A power generating device according to the present invention has a positive displacement steam expander for converting expansion of steam into a rotational force, a power generator connected to a rotational axis of the positive displacement steam expander, an inverter for setting an operational frequency of the power generator, a power detector for detecting generated electric power of the power generator, and control means for changing set frequency of the inverter in accordance with a deviation of the generated electric power detected by the power detector from a target value. According to such a configuration, it is possible to sustain high output of the power generator irrespective of a differential pressure between primary side steam and secondary side steam.

    Abstract: A screw compressor is disclosed wherein a pair of rotor shafts are disposed horizontally and an oil sump is formed at the bottom of a bearing casing which accommodates bearings for supporting the rotor shafts, a bearing lower portion being soaked into oil present in the oil sump for lubrication. The screw compressor comprises a chamber provided separately from the bearing casing, an oil line for communication between the oil sump in the bearing casing and the chamber and oil level detecting means disposed in the chamber. According to this structure, the oil level in the bearing casing can be checked accurately and there is no fear of oil shortage in the bearings.

    Abstract: A water-lubricated compressor is disclosed, in which a discharge on-off valve is disposed in a discharge channel located between a discharge port of a compressor body and a water separating/recovering unit and a water circulation on-off valve is disposed in a water circulation channel located between a water cooler and a water supply portion in the compressor body, while a gas release channel is formed to provide communication between a gas phase portion of the water separating/recovering unit and the exterior of the water separating/recovering unit and a gas release on-off valve is disposed in the gas release channel. When the compressor body is not in operation, the discharge on-off valve and the water circulation on-off valve are closed and the gas release on-off valve is opened, allowing water present within the water cooler to be recovered to the water separating/recovering unit through the water circulation channel.

    Abstract: In a screw for extruder, a bearing segment having a function of supporting a screw main body at an intermediate part when kneading is performed is provided at a position corresponding to a kneading portion or on the downstream side of the kneading portion. The bearing segment is provided with at least two flights having a sectional shape of a complete meshing type with one streak in the axial direction, the flights are arranged in the rotational direction with uniformly displacing a phase thereof respectively, and length of the flights in the axial direction is set to 0.2D (D: rotational outer diameter of the bearing segment) or more. According to the above configuration, bending of the screw main body is prevented and abrasion of the flights and a barrel is suppressed.

    Abstract: A oil-cooled type screw compressor of the present invention includes a compressor main unit storing a pair of male and female screw rotors driven by a motor and meshing with each other, a cooling fan provided independently to the motor for blowing air toward the motor, and control means for receiving a detected temperature signal from a temperature detector for detecting the coil temperature of the motor, and conducting control for increasing/decreasing the fan rotation speed of the cooling fan according to the coil temperature so as to maintain the coil temperature within a permissible range. It is possible to use the coil current of the motor or the motor rotation speed and the discharge pressure in place of the detected temperature signal. This constitution provides a screw compressor which offers fan-removed heat quantity not excessive or insufficient with respect to the motor heat generation quantity, and realizes sufficient cooling for the motor, and energy saving.
