    Abstract: Embodiments of energy profiling for workload transfer are disclosed. In accordance with at least one embodiment, the energy profiling for workload transfer includes determining a baseline wattage of a first server. Further, a load wattage of a workload is derived using a difference between the baseline wattage consumption and an overall wattage consumption. The workload is transferred to a second server when the load wattage is less than an available wattage on the second server.
