  • Patent number: 6878672
Abstract: A herbicidal emulsion composition comprising an ethenylamide compound as a herbicidally active component and a dichloroacetamide compound as a phytotoxicity reducing agent. This composition has excellent keeping stability because the phytotoxicity reducing agent of the composition does not decompose and crystals do not separate out even when it is kept for a long time. An amino alcohol and a polar nonaqueous solvent as a solvent are added to the ethenylamide compound and the dichloroacetamide compound to prepare a herbicidal emulsion composition.

  • Patent number: 5538076
Abstract: Projections are formed on the tip end part of a pipe for directly fitting the pipe into a capsule without using any extraneous elements, thus providing an economical and firmly fitting mechanism. Such a structure is commonly used in a heat exchanger. A tank includes a capsule formed into a box shape with one side open and a bottom panel disposed at the upper and lower ends of a heat exchanger and brazed thereto. A pipe fitting hole is formed in a side panel of the capsule, and around the pipe fitting hole is concavely formed a ring-shaped part inside the tank, and around the-ring-shaped part is formed a cylindrical part approximately at a right angle to the plane of ring-shaped part. On pipe is formed a flange part, and on a tip end part of the pipe are formed projections.

  • Patent number: 4462885
Abstract: A plurality of rectangular electrolytic cells are disposed in at least two rows of a side-by-side arrangement of cells. A first set of cathode bus bars extends along the outside of the short end of the cell facing the other row of cells. This set of bus bars, along with a second set of bus bars disposed beneath the cell, collect cathode current from the upstream long side of the cell.
