  • Publication number: 20060131201
Abstract: A packaging unit comprises a package box having an openable portion for breaking and removing a seal of a lid by a push-in operation, and a film for sealing and packing the package box, wherein the film includes a fragile portion formed in or adjacent a position corresponding to the openable portion of the package box, the fragile portion being tearable by a push-in operation on the openable portion effected from outside the film. The packaging unit provides a quick and easy seal removing operation while restraining tear and damage of the film in time of distributing and displaying products to enhance tamper-proof efficiency by sealing and packing the package box with the film through a push-in operation to be effected on the openable portion of the package box.

  • Publication number: 20040035718
Abstract: A packaging unit provided allows a quick and easy seal removing operation while restraining tear and damage of a film in time of distributing and displaying products to enhance tamper-proof efficiency by sealing and packing a package box with the film through a rational improvement utilizing a push-in operation to be effected on an openable portion of the package box. The packaging unit comprises a package box (1) having an openable portion (1D) for breaking and removing a seal of a lid (1B) by a push-in operation, and a film (2) for sealing and packing the package box (1), wherein the film (2) includes a fragile portion (3) formed in or adjacent a position corresponding to the openable portion (1D) of the package box (1), the fragile portion being tearable by a push-in operation on said openable portion (1D) effected from outside the film (2).

  • Patent number: 5337542
Abstract: A thermal shrink film is continuously pulled out and is shaped into a tubular form. Individual items to be wrapped are fed into the tubular film sequentially and overlapping marginal portions of the tubular film extending lengthwise are sealed. The tubular film is sealed and cut transversely of each of the items at the front end thereof and the tubular film is deformed inwardly by applying pressure thereto to decrease its internal volume. Then the tubular film is sealed and cut transversely of each item at the rear end thereof to form an intermediate package. The film of the intermediate package is shrunk by heating to thus shrink-wrap the item.

Abstract: A thermal shrink film is continuously pulled out and is shaped into a tubular form. Individual items to be wrapped are fed into the tubular film sequentially and overlapping marginal portions of the tubular film extending lengthwise are sealed. The tubular film is sealed and cut transversely side of each of the items at the front end thereof and the tubular film is deformed inwardly by applying pressure thereto to decrease its internal volume. Then the tubular film is sealed and cut transversely of each item at the rear end thereof to form an intermediate package. The film of the intermediate package is shrunk by heating to thus shrink-wrap the item.

  • Patent number: 4907393
Abstract: A packaging method includes the steps of supplying auxiliary bags, adding an adhesive layer to one of the surfaces of each auxiliary bag, feeding a continuous sheet-like wrapping material to a forming and filling assembly, attaching the auxiliary bags by the adhesive layer to the wrapping material during travel thereof, at an interval corresponding to a length required for forming each package and each at a portion thereof which becomes an inner surface of the package other than sealed portions thereof, forming the wrapping material into a tubular shape with the auxiliary bags inside, supplying articles into the tubular wrapping material and sealing the same to form the packages.

  • Patent number: 4329830
Abstract: A lower film is carried continuously along a passage having a substantially horizontal first passage part and a downwardly curved second passage part. While the lower film is carried along the first passage part, a plurality of recesses are formed on the lower film by a molding device which is moved in synchronization with the advancement of the lower film. An upper film is supplied continuously in such a manner that both upper and lower films approach together in the shape of "V" in section at the second passage part and they are sealed together as they move down further along the second passage part. While the films are partially sealed at the second passage part, powdery or particle-size material is fed into the recesses in the lower film.

  • Patent number: 4168598
Abstract: Upper and lower continuous films are supplied intermittently, with the upper film being supplied in a direction to form an acute angle relative to the advancing direction of the lower film. A part of the upper film is made soft and expansible by heating and is pressed upon the lower film while both films are stopped from advancement in such a manner that the softened part of the upper film encloses a material on the lower film. The space between the upper and lower films and about the material is then vacuumized. An upper vacuum box having a lower open end is provided above the upper film and has heating means and vacuum suction means therein. The upper vacuum box is moved to an inclined position, in which the lower end of the vacuum box becomes parallel to the upper film, and is then descended to a position, in which the upper film is pressed upon the lower film by the lower end of the vacuum box.

  • Patent number: 3973372
Abstract: Method and apparatus for automatically packing goods which are fed continuously in series spaced a predetermined distance from each other by means of a continuously fed strip of a stretch film having self-adhering and resiliently stretchable natures. The strip is fed by conveyor clamping opposite sides edges of the strip along the direction of feeding of the goods from above the same obliquely downwardly to intersect the path of feeding of the goods so that the upper side and lateral sides of the respective goods are wrapped by the strip as the strip is being fed. After the upper and lateral sides of the respective goods are wrapped by the strip, the opposite longitudinal side edges are introduced into converging guide slots so that they are folded back upon the bottom side of the respective goods where they are joined adhered with each other to form a cylindrically shaped strip onto the bottom side of which the joined longitudinal edges are adhered.
