  • Publication number: 20090125555
Abstract: Certain embodiments of the present invention provide a system and method for selectively archiving medical imaging data. The method comprises receiving criteria to selectively archive medical imaging data. The criteria may include but is not limited to, for example, one of the following: modality, procedure code, institution, department, physician, data type, patient demographics. The method may also include acquiring medical imaging data. The medical imaging data may have associated information, for example header information or image data. The method may also include comparing the associated information with the criteria. The medical images having associated information that satisfies the criteria is archived and the medical images having associated information that does not satisfy the criteria is discarded.

  • Publication number: 20070226167
Abstract: Certain embodiments of the present invention provide a system for clinical decision support including a crawler agent component. The crawler agent component is adapted to receive a search parameter. The search parameter specifies a criteria for evidence data to be searched for. The crawler agent component is adapted to initiate a search of a plurality of evidence sources based at least in part on the search parameter. The search identifies the evidence data. The evidence data is utilized by the clinical decision support system to provide decision support to a healthcare provider for a patient.

  • Patent number: 7152157
Abstract: A system and method for predicting whether a dynamic reconfiguration of a resource of a resource domain would be successful, prior to attempting the reconfiguration. A resource domain includes one or more computer resources (e.g., physical, logical and pseudo devices) and a graph management agent configured to maintain a graph representing the resources and dependencies between resources. Vertices of the graph represent resources; edges represent dependencies. A resource domain may also include a set of policies or constraints regarding resources and reconfigurations of resources. An illustrative constraint may specify that a particular resource (e.g., a multi-pathed logical device) must have a minimal number of paths (e.g., two). The graph agent identifies the effect the dynamic reconfiguration operation would have upon the resources and dependencies, and determines whether any constraints would be violated.

  • Publication number: 20060251975
Abstract: Certain embodiments of the present invention provide a method of retrieving radiographic images including interfacing with a storage system containing radiographic images. Some of the radiographic images have data representative of an image modality. A method further includes determining at least one filter corresponding to a filter modality. Each filter may be independently determinable from other filters. Additionally, a method includes pre-fetching at least one radiographic image using the filter, wherein the image modality of the at least one radiographic image corresponds to the filter modality.

  • Publication number: 20050048066
Abstract: The present invention is directed to the treatment of autoimmune diseases, in particular of Myasthenia Gravis. This invention provides novel autoimmune dominant peptides derived from the acetylcholine receptor, as well as methods for preparing the peptides. The present invention further provides complexes comprising these peptides associated with an appropriate major histocompatibility complex (MHC) molecule and methods for making these complexes. The complexes of the present invention can be used therapeutically or prophylactically for treating Myasthenia Gravis.
