  • Patent number: 11329885
Abstract: Disclosed embodiments provide cluster creation using self-joining cluster nodes. Each node within a cluster is assigned a role of master or non-master. A master node initializes and creates a cluster. A non-master, or “role” node initializes and joins a cluster established by the master. If the master has not yet initialized, the non-master node waits until the master node is operational and then joins the cluster. A description file associated with each node describes the services and configuration required for the node's assigned role. In this way, non-master nodes can be spawned independently of the master node, providing a greater level of scalability, improved fault tolerance, and increased availability.

  • Patent number: 11197819
Abstract: An extended-release bio absorbable subcutaneous medicinal dosage delivery implant system includes an implant fabricated from a highly homogeneously mixed composition including a medicinal agent in combination with release controlling polymers which include poly (DL-lactide) and polycaprolactone. In one implementation for treating an opioid disease, the formulation composition includes naltrexone at 40 weight percent, poly (DL-lactide) in the range between 36 and 46.4 weight percent, and polycaprolactone in the range between 24 and 11.6 weight percent. In addition, in order to provide anti-biofouling quality and prevent foreign body adsorption/interaction with the material of the implant, polyethylene glycol is added in a preferred content of 2.0%. The manufacturing process includes hot melt extrusion and a mini jet based implant formation stage with the optimized process space were the temperature of the process ranges from 170° C.-180° C.

  • Patent number: 10773215
Abstract: A filter system of the type having a pressure vessel having an annular filter media therein with a filter wiper piston moved by an air or hydraulic piston actuator. An electrically operated drain valve purges wiped contaminants from the filter media. Pressure sensors provide a signal to a controller of vessel inlet and outlet pressure. Position detectors provide signals to the controller of the drain valve position and filter actuation position. The controller has a computer which computes from the sensor inputs parameters representative, in real time, of entry fluid condition, relative amount of filter contamination, relative amount of filter wear, and relative amount of contaminant removal, and provides signals of the representation to indicators providing visual display thereof.

  • Publication number: 20190158909
Abstract: To enable synchronous media playback in a connected media environment, a source device may calculate a presentation time stamp (PTS) value defining a playback time for media packets to be streamed via a wireless local area network (WLAN) link. The source device may then recalculate the PTS value based on a time delay associated with a wireless personal area network (WPAN) link. As such, the source device may transmit the media packets with the recalculated PTS value to a first sink device via the WLAN link and further transmit the media packets to a second sink device via the WPAN link at a time prior to the recalculated PTS value (based on the time delay associated with the WPAN link) such that the first sink device and the second sink device render the media packets at substantially the same time.

  • Patent number: 8560698
Abstract: A plurality of subgroups of identifiers are identified including at least a first subgroup of identifiers and a second subgroup of identifiers within an identifier range. A first set of identifiers is selected in the first subgroup. The first set of identifiers in the first subgroup is compared with a second set of identifiers in the second subgroup and a first set of common identifiers is identified using metadata of the second set of identifiers. A third set of identifiers is generated by eliminating the first set of common identifiers from the first set of identifiers. The third set of identifiers is compared with a fourth set of identifiers in a repository of stored identifiers, to identify a second set of common identifiers. A fifth set of identifiers is generated by eliminating the second set of common identifiers from the third set of identifiers.

  • Publication number: 20050203999
Abstract: A system and method for rule-pen based conversations in a synchronous collaborative environment is presented. A plurality of users participates in an online collaborative discussion. A first participant has a comment, such as a question, and does not know the other participants' skill sets. The first participant selects a rule pen that includes an associated rule. The first participant's client includes the rule and a comment in a message, and sends the message to a server. The server identifies qualified participants that meet the rule criteria, and forwards the message to the qualified participants. The qualified participants may modify the rule, and respond to the message accordingly.

  • Publication number: 20050144229
Abstract: A system and method for role pen based messaging in a collaborative environment is presented. Online users utilize clients and a server to collaborate in a distributed presentation. One of the users is a presentation leader and sends presentation content to the server which distributes the presentation content to participating users. One of the users wishes to send a comment to a subset of the participating users. The user selects a role pen from a role pen stand whereby the role pen corresponds to a subset of the participating users. The user then generates a comment using his keyboard and/or mouse pointer, and the user's client sends the comment to recipient users' clients that correspond to the role pen. The recipient users' clients display the comment in the same window as the distributed presentation. Participating users that do not correspond to the role pen do not receive the comment.
