    Abstract: A 2D-to-3D color compensation method for compensating color processing in a display device is disclosed. The display device is coupled with a 2D-to-3D conversion box. The method includes the following steps: firstly, the 2D-to-3D conversion box sends out a combined calibration pattern to the display device. Then, the display device performs image processing for the combined calibration pattern. Subsequently, detect a difference value between the combined calibration pattern processed by the display device and the original combined calibration pattern. Finally, adjust the combined calibration pattern according to the difference value.

    Abstract: A 2D-to-3D delay compensation method for making a pair of shutter glasses be synchronization with a display device's playback of a video source is disclosed. Then, a shutter control signal is sent out after waiting a delay time to switch on and off the left and right lenses of the pair of shutter glasses. Subsequently, the calibration pattern is detected. Finally, determine whether the delay time must be adjusted or not according to the detecting result.

By detecting the distance between the projector and the screen and the distance between the 3D viewing device and the screen during a 3D presentation, the adaptive parameters may automatically be adjusted in order to provide the best and most comfortable 3D viewing environment. Or, the recommended values of the adaptive parameters which result in the best and most comfortable 3D viewing environment may be provided to the user for manual adjustment.

    Abstract: A method for determining a sound standard for an input sound signal includes the following steps. Firstly, the input sound signal is filtered to obtain a first filtered signal corresponding to a first frequency and a second filtered signal corresponding to a second frequency. Next, the first filtered signal is frequency-demodulated to obtain a first demodulated filtered signal, and whether the input sound signal contains a FM analog component corresponding to the first frequency is determined accordingly. Next, the second filtered signal is decoded according to a digital sound standard to obtain a bit stream. Then, the bit steam is interpreted according to the digital sound standard, and whether the input sound contains a digital component corresponding to the digital sound standard is determined accordingly. Then, whether the input sound signal matches one of known sound standards is determined based on the determined results above.

Then a determination as to whether a DC level of the demodulation signal has an S-curve characteristic at a specific frequency is made according to the demodulation signal. If so, the specific frequency is determined as a first station frequency, a first station signal is obtained from the radio frequency signal according to the first station frequency.
