  • Publication number: 20130232285
Abstract: A control method of flow control scheme and a control module thereof are provided. The provided control method includes setting a value of the transaction packets and outputting data to an external device according to the value of the transaction packets. When a not-ready transaction packet is received, the value of the transaction packets is reduced and the data is transmitted according to the value of the transaction packets.

  • Publication number: 20130132619
Abstract: A method for reducing transmission latency and a control module thereof are operated inside a host and at an external USB device. The method includes following steps: when the host receives an NRDY packet, storing a first data segment to be transferred by the host at the buffer storage unit inside the host; when the host receives an ERDY packet, capturing the first data segment stored at the buffer storage unit; and transferring the first data segment to the external USB device.

  • Patent number: 7325125
Abstract: A method and computer system for accessing initialization data stored in a boot memory space. After the power supply starts up, the south bridge starts up and sends an initiating signal to the north bridge for starting up the north bridge. Once the north bridge has started up, it sends the south bridge a transaction which requests that the south bridge reads the initialization data from the memory space and sends the initialization data to the south bridge. Then, the CPU starts up and operates normally after the CPU receives an initiating signal and the initialization data sent by the north bridge.

  • Patent number: 6691224
Abstract: A method and computer system for accessing initialization data stored in a boot ROM's memory space which is not used by a BIOS contained in the boot ROM. After the power supply starts up, the south bridge starts up and sends an initiating signal to the north bridge for starting up the north bridge. Once the north bridge has started up, it sends the south bridge a transaction which requests that the south bridge reads the initialization data from the boot ROM and sends the initialization data to the south bridge. Then, the CPU starts up and operates normally after the CPU receives an initiating signal and the initialization data sent by the north bridge.

  • Patent number: 6467072
Abstract: The invention provides a method of placement and routing for an array device in an integrated circuit (IC). In the method, a schematic script file used to describe placement for the array device is created according to a netlist and an array structure specification. The schematic script file is loaded into an auto P&R tool. The auto P&R tool is executed for completely routing the array device. After routing, an RC extraction can be directly implemented. Thus, product development time is greatly shortened.
