The systems may include an operator-detection sensor associated with an input device and configured to detect a presence of an operator at the input device. The systems may also include a motion sensor associated with the input device and configured to detect a displacement distance of the input device. A control unit may use a displacement threshold for the input device and may be configured to permit or prevent control signal generation based on feedback from the at least two sensors.
