Abstract: A plastic composite comprises a first plastic substrate, an adhesive layer formed on the first plastic substrate, and a second plastic substrate formed on the adhesive layer. The first plastic substrate is made of thermoplastic resin material. The second plastic substrate is made of thermosetting resin material. The adhesive layer mainly comprises amino silane coupling agent. A method for manufacturing the plastic composites is also provided.

Abstract: A device for applying a magnetic field to a container comprises an adjustable magnetic field generator. The adjustable magnetic field generator is adjacent to the container and has a magnet having one magnetic pole adjacent a wall of the container and another magnetic pole away from the wall of the container. The adjustable magnetic field generator comprises a magnet. The intensity of magnetic field applied to the container gradually decreases from the container wall adjacent the magnetic pole of the magnet to the opposite container wall. Method for coloring anode coatings using the device is also provided.

Abstract: A device housing includes a main body, and a display window mounted on the main body. A mounting gap is defined between the main body and the display window. The device housing further includes a decorative member jointing with the main body and the display window and covering the mounting gap. The decorative member is made of thermoset resin or polyurethane coating. A method for making the device housing is also provided.

Abstract: A method for joining an aluminum part and resin, includes: providing an aluminum part made of aluminum or aluminum alloy; forming a bonding layer on a surface of the aluminum part by coating a liquid film of hydrolyzed silane coupling agent and drying the liquid film; forming an adhesive layer formed of polyurethane adhesive on the bonding layer and curing the adhesive layer; molding a resin part integrally bonded to the adhesive layer.
