  • Publication number: 20240143462
Abstract: A technique monitors input/output (I/O) and Persistent Reservation (PR) activity patterns to detect degraded performance of a highly available and fault tolerant application executing in a multi-site disaster recovery (DR) environment. Multiple instances of the application execute in different virtual machines (VMs) of a compute layer within a guest clustering configuration that extends across clusters of the sites. A storage layer of the clusters provides shared storage to the multiple VMs across the multiple sites. One of the sites is configured as an active storage site configured to receive and service I/O requests from the compute layer. A single instance of the application is active at a time and configured as a “compute owner” of the shared storage to issue the I/O requests to the shared storage. The compute owner and active storage site may not be co-located on the same site, leading to excessive I/O and PR activity patterns indicative of degraded performance.

  • Patent number: 11972400
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a description of exemplary systems and methods for enabling faster proof-of-work in a distributed ledger. The methods and systems may include a processor which may generate a first hash having a first difficulty level as a first proof of work associated with a first plurality of selected transactions. The first hash not being accepted by a distributed ledger network. The processor may receive a second plurality of selected transactions and determine a second difficulty level for a second proof of work associated with the second plurality of selected transactions. The processor may compare the first difficulty level to the second difficulty level. In response to determining that the first difficulty level is less than the second difficulty level, the processor may generate a second hash as a second proof-of-work for the second plurality of selected transactions having a residual difficulty level.

  • Patent number: 11973708
Abstract: Methods and systems for reporting CSI and selecting optimal beams using ML. The CSI report is sent to a gNB, which includes feedback parameters, computed and predicted using ML. The feedback parameters are computed using measurements performed using CSI-RS. Values of the feedback parameters likely at future, based on channel variation and the measurements, are pre-dieted using ML. The computed and predicted feedback parameters are included in the CSI report. Optimal CSI-RS resource allocation and optimal CSI reporting periodicity are determined using ML and sent to the gNB. The CSI report is encoded using the ML based model. The RSRP of the beams are predicted using ML for beam selection.

The vascular territory segmentation module is configured to receive a set of CTA images and to mark a territory of vascular segments in the ICV region for each slice of the ROI. The ICV segmentation module is configured to process each slice of the ROI. The processed slices of the ROI are combined to develop a CTA image after application of MIP and the developed CTA image is segmented into a Middle Cerebral Artery (MCA) region and an Internal Cerebral Artery (ICA) region. The MCA-LVO and ICA-LVO classifiers determine presence of the LVO on the received MCA and ICA region using Deep Learning techniques and accordingly the presence of the LVO is reported.

  • Publication number: 20240004629
Abstract: Client machines, whether consumer or Enterprise, are notified of software updates using a decentralized, peer-to-peer blockchain infrastructure. Any software update is written to a block of data and distributed to blockchain nodes associated with a blockchain network. A smart contract, executed by any of the blockchain nodes, causes the corresponding blockchain node to notify specific client machines of the block of data recording the software update. The client machines contact the blockchain node and request the software update written to the block of data. The blockchain node retrieves and sends the software update written to the block of data. When the client machines receive the software update, the client machines apply or install the software update to improve their computer functioning.

  • Publication number: 20230155997
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for providing for trust in a distributed environment are disclosed. In a distributed environment, various devices may be remote to one another and may interact with one another via one or more operable connections. Through the operable connections, various communications may be exchanged. However, the operable connections may not natively support authentication of any particular device in the distributed system. Consequently, entities in the distributed system may not intrinsically trust that the communications received through the distributed environment are authentic. The entities of the system may mutually authenticate one another prior to trusting communications from the other entities. For example, in a scenario where a client wishes to access data hosted by a data source, the client and data source may go through a process of mutually authenticating one another. By doing so, a trusted environment may be established.
