    Abstract: Provided is a stator core of a rotating electrical machine in which a core back and teeth are formed by laminating a plurality of thin steel plates with an adhesive interposed therebetween. The stator core includes a first stator core that is formed by applying the adhesive to a first region covering the core back and the teeth between the plurality of thin steel plates, and a second stator core that is formed by applying the adhesive to a second region, which has an area smaller than an area of the first region, between the plurality of thin steel plates. The first stator core is disposed at least at one end of the stator core in a laminating direction of the thin steel plates.

The first faces of the attachment hole and the second faces of the deflector have a locking structure in which the first faces and the second faces respectively lock each other in an improper state in which a part of the deflector is inserted into the attachment hole in a posture different from a posture of the deflector housed in the attachment hole.

According to a result of comparisons, the knocking detecting and determining system determines an occurrence of engine knocking.
