  • Patent number: 5897606
Abstract: In a method for storing vibration waveform data sequentially detected by a vibration sensor. The vibration storing method includes detection of a reference level terminal point (P.sub.3) between a preestablished reference level and a vibration waveform. The detected reference level terminal point serves as a trigger. Also, vibration waveform data from a predetermined point (P.sub.0) before a reference level starting point (P.sub.1) to a predetermined point (P.sub.4) after the reference level terminal point (P.sub.3) are stored in a memory. A first preliminary memory and a second preliminary memory are utilized so that the vibration waveform data from those two memories are alternately transferred and stored.

  • Patent number: 5701257
Abstract: A shock measuring method for detects shocks during transportation by a sensor and stores such detected shock data. The shock measuring method in goods transportation being characterized in that measuring conditions 1, 2, . . . n whose sequential order is pre-established are progressively fed in accordance with the sequential order for each transportation section, and shock data for each transportation section measured under each measuring condition 1, 2, . . . n for each transportation section are stored in accordance with the sequential order.

  • Patent number: 5600061
Abstract: A shock generating position storage unit includes an acceleration sensor for detecting an impulsive wave or shock applied to a vehicle during transportation thereof, a storage unit for storing data representative of such impulsive wave or shock, and a global positioning system (GPS) for determining a position of the vehicle along a travel path based on a radio wave received from an artificial satellite. Data of the travel position at a time when data of the impulsive wave or shock detected by the acceleration sensor exceeds a predetermined minimum value is sent to the storage unit from the GPS at the same time the impulsive wave or shock data is sent thereto.
