  • Publication number: 20120151546
Abstract: An information processing apparatus of one embodiment has: a plurality of processing units; a control unit to control the processing units; and a switch unit having a network switch including a plurality of communication ports to which the processing units and the control unit are connected. Each processing unit transmits an activation completion notification containing an address, a unit-installed position, and a link state to the control unit at the time of activation. The switch unit creates an address learning table associating port identification information indicating the communication ports, addresses of the processing units connected to the communication ports, and link states between the communication ports and the processing units with one another. The control unit creates a unit positional information table associating the port identification information and the unit-installed position with each other based on the contents of the address learning table and the activation completion notification.

  • Publication number: 20120124634
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a video server includes an encoder, a transmission module, storage modules, and a controller. The encoder outputs a request in response to encoding a video signal. The controller confirms whether or not the number of outputs of video data and a video file to the storage modules within a time interval is less than a limitation number in response to the request. The controller selects the best storage module to store the encoded video data from among the storage modules if the number of outputs is less than the limitation number. The apparatus controller transmits an instruction to the encoder designating the selected storage module as a transmission destination. The encoder outputs the encoded video data designating the transmission destination. The transmission module transmits the output video data to the transmission destination. The storage modules designated as the transmission destination stores the transmitted video data.

  • Publication number: 20120072942
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a broadcast-contents management apparatus includes a plurality of network interface modules, a plurality of storage modules and a controller. The plurality of network interface modules connect with an information processing apparatus including functions relating to process on contents data. The plurality of storage modules store the contents data sent from the information processing apparatus. The controller monitors or controls the plurality of network interface modules and the plurality of storage modules. The controller includes a selector. The selector selects a combination of a network interface module and a storage module to use, based on use statuses of the plurality of network interface modules and the plurality of storage modules or based on a preset condition, when the controller performs process on the contents data. The selector performs the process on contents data by the selected combination.

  • Publication number: 20090167947
Abstract: In a video data processor, the control unit cyclically defines a plurality of slots to the data bus, sets band width of each slot to be band width capable of transmitting the video data without missing frames, and assigns the video data to the slots. Only the video data of slots assigned by a bus arbiter may be received transmission permission in a round-robin system, then, the video data of the slots is transmitted to the data bus. Thereby, the band of the data bus may be efficiently used without affecting on transmission of video data of which the transmission speed should be kept constant.

  • Patent number: 6390599
Abstract: A photosensitive resin film 6 is pressed onto the surface 2 of nozzle plate 1, with one portion entering the inside of nozzle 4. Then, by ultraviolet radiation directed from the rear surface 3 of nozzle plate 1, the inside the nozzle portion hardened as to form a plug 6a, and at the same time the portion of photosensitive resin film directly above nozzle 4 is hardened by the ultraviolet radiation to form an extensive portion 6b, of a size at least that of nozzle diameter d, but no larger than 1.4 times that of nozzle diameter d. Finally, using the shape of extensive portion 6b, an ink-repellent eutectoid plating coating layer 8 is applied to the whole surface 2 of nozzle plate 1 with the exception of the edge of nozzle 4 covered by the extensive portion, forming on that surface 2 a water-repellent surface that does not cause deviation in the flight of ink droplets, while restricting the lining of the inside of nozzle 4 with the coating layer.
