  • Publication number: 20110201705
Abstract: A foamable composition for polyurethane foam is provided which advantageously improves heat insulating properties, a long-term stability, and a dimensional stability, of a polyurethane foam that is produced by using carbon dioxide as a blowing agent. Further, a polyurethane foam which has excellent heat insulating properties is provided by foaming and curing the foamable composition for polyurethane. In the production of the polyurethane foam in which carbon dioxide is used in the foaming, a polyol component is used which includes a phenolic resin polyol that is obtained by adding at least one alkylene oxide to a phenolic novolak resin, and an aromatic amine polyol that is obtained by adding at least one alkylene oxide to an aromatic diamine such that the total amount thereof is 60% or more by mass, based on the total polyol component.

  • Patent number: 4602595
Abstract: An oil separator for separating and collecting lubrication oil contained in blow-by gas of an internal combustion engine. The separator is formed in the cylinder-head cover of the engine and incorporates a porous filter or filters made of foam metal for absorbing oil constituents in the blow-by gas. The filter is vertically arranged so as to make the absorbed oil to fall to the bottom of the separator and to be collected by the oil reservoir for recycling the separated oil to the cylinder.

  • Patent number: 4328832
Abstract: An orifice apparatus is provided which couples a vacuum advancer of a distributor associated with an engine for a vehicle with a carburetor of the engine. The orifice apparatus includes a body having an upper and a lower opening between which an isolation wall is formed in which a plurality of orifices are circumferentially spaced apart at an equal angular interval. A plurality of orifice members are disposed below the isolation wall and each has an orifice of a different diameter formed therein which is located below one of the plurality of orifices. A rotary plate is disposed above the isolation wall and is secured to a regulating member in the form of a rotatable shaft. A seal member is bonded to the lower surface of the rotary plate, which is formed with a passage port which can be brought into alignment with one of the plurality of orifices formed in the isolation wall.
