  • Publication number: 20120186934
Abstract: A vehicle hydraulic clutch apparatus includes a clutch master cylinder that generates clutch working oil pressure in response to operation of a clutch pedal, and a concentric slave cylinder that engages and releases a friction clutch as the clutch working oil pressure generated by the clutch master cylinder is supplied thereto and discharged therefrom via an oil passageway. A flow restraint device (130, 200) that restrains flow of the working oil from a concentric slave cylinder (66) side to a clutch master cylinder (62) side which occurs according to operation of the clutch pedal (60) is provided in the concentric slave cylinder (66).

  • Patent number: 6247571
Abstract: A power transmitting mechanism is provided in which a driving member rotatingly transmitting power and a driven member receiving the transmitted power are arranged concentrically for rotation relative to each other. A torsion member is accommodated between the driving member and the driven member. A first hysteresis mechanism including at least one friction member is provided on the inner peripheral side of a spacing accommodating the torsion mechanism. The friction member of the first hysteresis mechanism may be split into a plurality of portions each passing through, with clearance, a respective hole or cut-out in the driven member. A second hysteresis mechanism including at least one friction member is arranged outside the space accommodating the torsion mechanism. The second hysteresis mechanism generates hysteresis separate from that generated by the first hysteresis mechanism. The torsion member may be plural torsion springs with differing spring constants.

  • Patent number: 5454459
Abstract: A torque fluctuation absorbing apparatus includes drive plates coupled to an input shaft from an engine, a flywheel supported rotatably on the input shaft, a driven disc radially outwardly extending between the opposed drive plates and fixed on the flywheel, and a pair of L-shape thrust members located in a space between the opposed drive plates and forming a liquid chamber. The lining secured to outer side surfaces of the thrust members are brought into frictional engagement with inner side surfaces of the drive plates when a liquid pressure in the chamber is increased and the thrust members are axially moved.
