A racing game using the plurality of player objects is executed based on performance of each player object determined based on the chosen option. The player object is caused to attack another player object in the racing game. The player object is caused to temporarily crash due to an influence of the attack. The crashed player object is caused to transition to a crash avoidance state in which the crashed player object is forbidden to crash again due to an influence of at least one of attacks, for the crash avoidance time determined based on the first parameter.
