Abstract: An induction heater having cylindrical cooking receptacle comprises a housing provided therein with an electromagnetic circuit of heating, a heat radiating fan, and at least an induction coil. The housing is further composed of a cylindrical receptacle encased by a cylindrical induction coil controlled by the electromagnetic circuit for heating so as to induce the generation of eddy current in the conducting material making up the container placed in the cylindrical receptacle in order that the food contained in the container is heated efficiently and rapidly.
