  • Publication number: 20090097243
Abstract: An LED lamp (100) includes a heat sink (10), a powerless fan (30) and a plurality of LEDs (50). The fan is secured to the heat sink. The fan has an impeller (33) located above the heat sink. The LEDs are attached to a bottom of the heat sink. Heat generated by the LEDs is transferred to the heat sink, and accordingly, a natural convection is formed by a temperature gradient of air in the heat sink and pushes the impeller to rotate to generate a forced airflow toward the heat sink, which, in turn, enhances the natural convection of the air in the heat sink.

  • Publication number: 20090097244
Abstract: A method for controlling a remote LED lamp includes: using a memory unit (452) to record a standard value for indicating a normal environmental brightness and a reference value for indicating a normal LED brightness; using a first sensor (41) to detect real-time brightness of the environmental light and transmit a signal (31) indicating the real-time brightness to the memory unit; using the memory unit to compare the signal with the standard value to obtain a result; using a driving unit (451) to control the LED light lamp to be turned on/off according to the result.

  • Patent number: 7304844
Abstract: A cooling fan assembly includes a cooling fan (1) having a rotary hub (14) and a plurality of fan blades extending radially from an outer periphery of the hub, a hood (20) connected with the cooling fan, and a guiding member (40) located in a center of the hood. The hood forms an air inlet (22) near the cooling fan and an air outlet (24) far from the cooling fan. The guiding member is located close to hub of the cooling fan and so configured that a low pressure area is prevented from being formed in the hood near the hub, wherein the guiding member guides an airflow generated by the cooling fan to flow from the air inlet toward the air outlet.

  • Publication number: 20060175038
Abstract: A rotary-type total heat exchanger (10) includes two blowers (21, 22), a rotary wheel (33), an air-guiding member (41) and an air-regulating member (42). The blowers are used to provide a first airflow and a second airflow into the total heat exchanger. The rotary wheel defines therein a plurality of air passageways (331). Upon rotation, the rotary wheel is capable of exchanging heat and moisture between the airflows when the airflows separately flow though the air passageways of the rotary wheel. The air-guiding member is in fluid communication with one of the blowers for guiding one of the airflows toward the rotary wheel. The air-regulating member is located between the rotary wheel and the air-guiding member for distributing the guided airflow over the air passageways of the rotary wheel.

  • Publication number: 20060009147
Abstract: The present invention is a push-pull ventilation hood having a push device to obtain a push air flow and a pull device to exhaust contaminant flow with an exhaust opening and the two devices properly coordinated with each other, wherein, when the push flow flows through a contaminant source, a contaminated flow of the push flow is exhausted through the exhaust opening. Based on the design process according to the present invention, a push-pull hood with the highest efficiency of push velocity can be designed and the push-pull hood can economically and effectively control the contaminant source.
