  • Patent number: 6625811
Abstract: A system output signals of broadcast contents in a multichannel broadcasting system without the need to suspend broadcasting even in the event of a failure occurring in an output buffer apparatus, includes a broadcast content storage unit for storing data of the broadcast contents, a plurality of main output buffer apparatuses each assigned to some of several output channels wherein data of broadcast contents to be output to the associated output channels is copied from the broadcast content storage unit to be output at output times as signals, backup output buffer apparatuses fewer in number than the main output buffer apparatuses wherein data of broadcast contents to be output to all the output channels is copied from the broadcast content storage unit, and a control unit for letting the backup output control apparatus output signals of broadcast contents stored therein for output channels associated with any of the main output buffer apparatuses to the output channels in the event of a failure occurring in

  • Patent number: 6442326
Abstract: A commercial sending system that can easily record a non-recorded commercial material is provided. When a play list is input from a creating block or a receiving block, a CM material DB managing block is asked whether or not CM materials included in the list have been recorded in the system. If a non-recorded CM material is included in the list, the non-recorded CM material is displayed on a sending terminal. In addition, a record list creating block automatically creates a record list for the non-recorded CM material. The record list is displayed on a recording terminal. These operations are performed for all CM materials included in the list.

  • Patent number: 6088703
Abstract: A material storage unit copies materials to supply buffer units corresponding to a play list. The supply buffer units designate use frequency levels to individually copied materials. The use frequency levels are automatically updated corresponding to the number of times the relevant materials have been supplied. When materials are supplied from the supply buffer units, the relevant supply date/time is stored. When the material storage unit copies material to the supply buffer units, if they do not have blank areas, unnecessary materials are deleted therefrom. At this point, a material whose use frequency level is the lowest and that is not designated in a play list is deleted. When all materials are designated in a play list, a material whose supply date/time is the oldest and whose use frequency level is the lowest is deleted. In addition, a material whose use frequency level is for example "5" is not deleted.

  • Patent number: 5191779
Abstract: In a method of producing a metallic container by subjecting a metallic material having an organic resin coating to single-staged or multiple-staged drawing, uniformly coating a lubricant on the surface of the organic resin coating of the metallic material and draw-forming the coated material, according to the present invention, a high lubricating property is obtained at the time of drawing by using a small amount of a saturated hydrocarbon as the lubricant, and by simply heating the formed can, a major portion of the lubricant can be removed and the degreasing and washing steps or the subsequent drying step essential in the conventional method, can be omitted, with the result that the printability or the flavor-retaining property can be markedly improved, and consumption of water resource and energy resource can be reduced and a high effect of preventing environmental pollution can be attained.

  • Patent number: 4350262
Abstract: An easy open can cap has an elongated tear strip defined by a main score and a ring pull tab attached to the tear strip by a rivet. A bending score is provided on the tear strip near the rivet, the bending score extending perpendicular to a longitudinal extending center line of the tear strip so that when the ring pull tab is initially lifted, the tear strip bends at the bending score to thereby reduce the applied force necessary for initiating opening of the tear strip. The main score has a starting end portion extending partially around the area of said rivet and a terminating end portion at the opposite end of the tear strip, the main score having a transitional portion between the starting end portion and the terminating end portion with the transitional portion having a thinner score residual than that of the starting end portion.
