  • Publication number: 20080027425
Abstract: A puncturing member 2 including a puncturing part 2a for puncturing a vein in which a varicosis is formed is formed of a conductor. A counter electrode plate 5 to be allowed to be in contact with the surface of an organism and a foot switch 18 are connected to an apparatus main body 4. An inverter circuit for generating high frequency power is provided in the apparatus main body 4. After the end part of a cylinder member 3 is allowed to puncture skin, the puncturing member 2 is inserted into the cylinder member 3 so that the puncturing part 2a punctures the vein in which the varicosis is formed. The high frequency power generated at the inverter circuit is supplied to the puncturing part 2a. Heat generated at the puncturing part 2a cauterizes the vein to block the bloodstream, thereby degenerating the vein.

  • Publication number: 20070260262
Abstract: A slit 8 for insertion of a guide wire 3 is formed in the peripheral wall of a tubular member 2 which is to be inserted into the left anterior descending branch. A thread 15 is tied around the peripheral wall of the tubular member 2 such that the knot 17 is placed on the peripheral wall generally opposite to the slit 8. After the tubular member 2 is inserted into the left anterior descending branch with the help of the guide wire 3, the guide wire 3 is pulled out. The thread 15 is lightly pulled to axially rotate the tubular member 2 such that the slit 8 is covered with the inner surface of the left anterior descending branch. After more than a half of a graft vessel is anastomosed to the periphery of an incision of the left anterior descending branch, the thread 15 is strongly pulled to pull out the tubular member 2. The graft vessel is completely anastomosed to the periphery of the incision.
