Patent number: 9463757Abstract: An electric junction box 1 includes: a box main body 2; and a tubular guide portion 6 projecting from the box main body 2 and guiding a plurality of electric wires 7 to an outside of the box main body 2. While the electric wires 7 are passed through the guide portion 6, a fixing member 8 is continuously wound from the guide portion 6 to the electric wires 7. The guide portion 6 is provided with an expanded portion 67 gradually expanded toward an outside of the guide portion 6 as the guide portion 6 is extended from the box main body 2 to an end portion away from the box main body 2.Type: GrantFiled: June 30, 2011Date of Patent: October 11, 2016Assignee: Yazaki CorporationInventors: Shutoh Soh, Kenta Kamiya

Patent number: 9241417Abstract: The waterproof structure of an electrical junction box herein prevents water from entering into the electrical junction box. The electrical junction box includes a main body having a groove formed on an outer wall thereof and a tubular wire cover composed of front and rear split covers. Electric wires are passed downward through the wire cover and fixed to a lower portion of the wire cover using a tape. The wire cover is slidably engaged with the groove of the junction box main body. The waterproof structure includes a step portion as a water stop formed on a rear wall of the wire cover. The rear wall is arranged in contact with or adjacent to a back wall of the groove so that the step portion prevents water from entering into the electrical junction box from bottom along the back wall of the groove through the electric wire.Type: GrantFiled: April 19, 2012Date of Patent: January 19, 2016Assignee: Yazaki CorporationInventors: Shutoh Soh, Kenta Kamiya, Kouki Sato

Patent number: 9227578Abstract: The present invention provides a bracket configuration for retaining a washer within a washer case which has an opening for inserting the bracket therethrough so that the washer case is mounted to the bracket from above the washer. The bracket configuration specifically includes a hole configured to dispose the washer thereon and insert a bolt therethrough, and a rib formed along an edge of the opening so as to prevent or protect the washer from deviation or disconnection via a clearance gap created between the opening and the bracket.Type: GrantFiled: April 3, 2012Date of Patent: January 5, 2016Assignee: Yazaki CorporationInventors: Shutoh Soh, Fumiyoshi Ohashi

Patent number: 9198316Abstract: An electrical wire jacketing configuration used in an electrical junction box herein has a body portion in which a recess is formed. The electrical wire jacketing configuration includes a gutter-shaped portion configured to pass an electrical wire therethrough, a slidable engaging portion formed in both end portions of the gutter-shaped portion in the across-the-width-direction, and is slidingly engabeable with a guide portion of the recess, and a projection extending from the gutter-shaped portion toward the recess so as to prevent possible erroneous or wrong attachment of the electrical wire jacketing configuration to the recess. The recess may have a secondary guide portion configured to proceed the projection into the recess such that the projection can engage with the recess. The electrical wire jacketing configuration to which the electrical wire is fixed slidably moves toward the recess in a longitudinal direction of the electrical wire, and thereby mates with the recess.Type: GrantFiled: April 19, 2012Date of Patent: November 24, 2015Assignee: Yazaki CorporationInventors: Shutoh Soh, Kenta Kamiya, Kunihiko Takeuchi, Takeshi Onoda

Patent number: 8420931Abstract: An electrical junction box includes a junction-box body having at least an outlet for discharging a liquid inside thereof to an outside thereof; and a bracket provided between the junction-box body and a vehicle-body panel. The bracket is adapted to attach the junction-box body to the vehicle-body panel such that the bracket resides in a lower space relative to the junction-box body in a vertical direction. The bracket includes a throughhole communicating with the outlet and adapted to guide the liquid from the outlet to the outside. The bracket may include a plurality of ribs spaced from each other and upstanding in a shape of a plate toward the vehicle-body panel such that the outlet is provided between the ribs. The ribs may be connected to each other via a foot of the bracket upstanding in a shape of a plate toward the vehicle-body panel.Type: GrantFiled: November 16, 2010Date of Patent: April 16, 2013Assignee: Yazaki CorporationInventors: Shutoh Soh, Yasuhito Suzuki, Suguru Sakai, Tomoki Urasawa, Yoshihito Imaizumi, Hiroaki Takahashi, Ryouta Ando
