  • Patent number: 11939015
Abstract: By an offset amount being calculated based on a lateral position deviation from a target travel path at a forward point-of-gaze of a host vehicle at a time of a driver steering state, a series of vehicle control operations until switching back from the driver steering state to an automatic steering control, and traveling along an offset travel path, becomes smoother, whereby comfort when riding in a vehicle is increased.

  • Publication number: 20230079624
Abstract: The travel path generation device includes; a first path generation part that outputs a bird's-eye view travel path constituted of a bird's-eye view curvature component, a bird's-eye view angle component, and a bird's-eye view lateral position component; a second path generation part that outputs an autonomous travel path constituted of an autonomous curvature component, an autonomous angle component, and an autonomous lateral position component; and a path generation part that receives the outputs of the first path generation part and the second path generation part, sets up, based on the bird's-eye view curvature component, the autonomous angle component, and the autonomous lateral position component, a curvature component of the travel path of the host vehicle, an angle component to the travel path of the host vehicle, and a lateral position component to the travel path of the host vehicle, and generates the travel path of the host vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20230071612
Abstract: In order to generate an improved travel path with sufficient accuracy, a vehicle travel path generation device includes a first travel path generation part (60) which approximates a lane on which a host vehicle (1) travels to output first travel path information, a second travel path generation part (70) which approximates a road division line ahead of the host vehicle (1) to output second travel path information, a travel path weight setting part (90) which sets a weight between the first travel path information and the second travel path information, and an integrated path generation part (100) which generates an integrated path information using the first travel path information, the second travel path information, and the weight by the travel path weight setting part (90), wherein the travel path weight setting part (90) sets the weight, on the basis of at least one of outputs from a bird's-eye view detection travel path weight setting part (91), a vehicle state weight setting part (92), a path distance w

  • Publication number: 20210347359
Abstract: A lane information detection unit detects the shape and the road width of a traveling lane of a vehicle. A present transverse position detection unit detects a present transverse position indicating a present traveling position of the vehicle in the width direction of the traveling lane. A driver-corresponding transverse position setting unit sets a driver-corresponding transverse position corresponding to a driving tendency of a driver. An upper/lower limit value setting unit sets upper/lower limit values that the driver-corresponding transverse position can take, in accordance with the road width. Then, when change in the road width is detected, a transverse position control amount calculation unit sets, as a target transverse position, the driver-corresponding transverse position within the upper/lower limit values in which the change is reflected, and calculates a transverse position control amount for the vehicle from the present transverse position of the vehicle.
