    Abstract: A system for controlling at least one beam of light emitted from a lighting apparatus in a vehicle. The control system may, in at least one embodiment, control the lighting apparatus based on road navigation data and/or vehicle sensor data. The road navigation data may include information related to the form of the road and a reliability rate. If the reliability rate of the road navigation data is higher than a threshold value, then the road navigation data may be used in conjunction with the vehicle sensor data. If the reliability rate of the road navigation data is lower than threshold value, then only the vehicle sensor data may be used to control the lighting apparatus.
