  • Patent number: 5900579
Abstract: The invention is directed to a dispersal or scattering dispenser (cannister) in accordance with the species concept of claim 1, in which the muzzle velocity of the munitions can be changed during the munitions ejection in a target dedicated manner by the chronologically phased opening of a pressure chamber arranged between the gas generator and the munitions tube. Embodiment examples are described and illustrated in the figures of the drawing.

  • Patent number: 4716649
Abstract: A measured-value sensor for an inductive flowmeter comprises a fluid impermeable sintered ceramic measuring tube adapted to be positioned in a conductive-liquid flow path. Magnetic coils surround the tube and are adapted to apply a magnetic field to a conductive liquid traversing the path. A pair of diametrically opposite measuring electrodes contact the liquid traversing the path for tapping an induced voltage across the electrodes representing the flow of the liquid along the path, each of the electrodes having a metallic shaft traversing the tube substantially radially and sealingly sintered to the material of the tube. The ends of the ceramic measuring tube are provided with a flange, ground at its peripheral wall surface and fastened by shrinkage stress in a bore of a steel casing.

  • Patent number: 4447025
Abstract: A load such as supply containers, weapons or the like is dropped from an craft by a carrier which has a longitudinal support beam and wings which are hinged to the support beam to normally extend in the direction of the longitudinal support beam when the load is secured to the aircraft through the support beam. Once the beam with the load attached thereto is released from the aircraft the wings are automatically spread out for controlling the flight of the load to the ground. The longitudinal carrier or the load itself may be equipped with a propulsion system that may be controlled automatically by control means forming part of the load or it may be controlled by remote control.

  • Patent number: 4200502
Abstract: A method is disclosed for producing an electric thin layer circuit comprising at least one capacitor and a conductor path and/or a resistor. The number of masks required for the production of such a thin layer circuit is reduced. First and second layers of tantalum-aluminum alloy where the second layer has a tantalum share lower than the first, are applied on an insulating base. In a first masking and etching technique, areas of the first and second layers are etched off outside the circuit elements. At least the second layer is anodically oxidized and the anodically oxidized surface is covered with a silicon dioxide layer so as to form a two layer dielectric for the capacitor. In a second masking and etching technique, not-required areas of the silicon dioxide layer external to the capacitor are removed. By utilizing the silicon dioxide layer remaining as an etching mask, the not-required areas of the tantalum-aluminum oxide layer and the second tantalum-aluminum layer external to the capacitor are removed.
