  • Patent number: 4491995
Abstract: A process for the level exhaust dyeing of polyester fiber textile material is accomplished by dissolving unfinished disperse dyestuff synthesis material in as high a concentration as possible in an organic solvent miscible with water. This solution is forced into an aqueous liquor already at a dyeing temperature of 90.degree. to 140.degree. C. and already circulating through the polyester fiber textile material. Dyeing of the material then occurs in the usual manner.

  • Patent number: 4368421
Abstract: The device for measuring the moisture content of a sheet-like sample consists of a microwave oscillator, microwave transmitter and microwave receiver. At least three horn transmitters are flanged via an attenuator, directional couplers and attenuators to a frequency modulated microwave oscillator, opposite each of the horn transmitters, which are fixed on a frame, a microwave receiver with detector is arranged on the same frame, and a reference detector is flanged, via an attenuator, to at least one of the directional couples. The microwave receivers can be arranged so that they can be moved on the frame.

  • Patent number: 4202112
Abstract: Process for the uniform pre-drying of damp textile material webs, subsequent to a continuous wet treatment operation, including measuring the moisture content remaining on the textile material, wherein, in the course of the material run, immediately behind an infrared pre-drying tunnel for the continuously fed material, several measuring positions are arranged transversely to the transport direction of the material, and measurements of the residual moisture are made by means of a contactless method, determining measuring pulses in this manner and transmitting these to the control elements of the preceding pre-dryer and within the heating power is controlled of several separately controllable heating fields, distributed across the width of the drying tunnel, in agreement with the measured values of the moisture.

Inventors: Hans-Ulrich von der Eltz, Siegfried Glander
  • Patent number: 4157595
Abstract: Process for the uniform application of treatment liquors to textile material webs with the aid of a measurement of the total moisture content applied, wherein, in the course of the material run, immediately behind a machine for applying the liquor to the continuously fed material, several measuring position are arranged transversely to the transport direction of the material and measurements of the total moisture are made by means of a contactless method, the measuring pulses determined in this manner are transmitted to the control elements of the preceding liquor application unit and there the amount of liquor pick-up from several separately controllable sections, which are distributed across the width of liquor application unit, is controlled in agreement with the measured values of the total mixture.

  • Patent number: 4135268
Abstract: Process for creating uniform flow conditions for circulating liquors flowing through textile wound packages or packaged material of synthetic and/or natural fibers in the course of machine dyeing by the exhaustion method under elevated pressure, wherein the zones of liquor flow which deviate from a mean value are determined across the entire block of material by measuring the differential pressures within the wound packages of material at several pairs of positions, whereupon the localized flow differences are equalized in all positions of the block of material by altering the properties and structures of the packages of material, by modifying the dyeing program, by varying the pumping power, by design changes in the dyeing machine and/or special selection and optimum metering of auxiliaries.

  • Patent number: 4061001
Abstract: Device for the uniform application of liquid treating baths in the form of foam onto textile flat materials, consisting essentially of (a) elements for foaming the liquor under pressure, by a pipe-line for the foam linked to (b) a foam distributing and foam applying chamber, and immediately below, but not directly limited therewith, (c) elements for supporting and transporting the textile web in open width of the material.
