  • Patent number: PP7199
Abstract: A new and distinctive geranium plant variety particularly distinguished by its very floriferous growth habit and its profuse production of bright Carmine Rose-colored flowers comprising relatively small clusters borne on relatively long, downwardly hanging branches standing over a background of glossy, dark green, medium sized leaves which provide a brilliant background for the flowers. The florets are of medium size and well filled and seven or eight of them form a round cluster, a plurality of which are carried on the hanging branches extending from upright stalks that are about 12 to 13 cm. long. The flowers are very double and appear somewhat like roses when they open and the flower clusters nearly cover the hanging tendrils which can grow in length up to about 50 cm.

  • Patent number: PP7374
Abstract: A new and distinct Geranium cultivar particularly distinguished by its continuous and profuse production of large flower clusters comprising very large semi-double florets of a pink salmon color that does not fade in great heat, the flower clusters having an average diameter of 10 to 12 cm. and containing 40 to 50 florets of a diameter of about 5.5 cm. Each of these flower clusters stands on a strong light brown stalk of 11 to 12 cm. long and well above a light green foliage body of medium sized kidney shaped leaves which grown in a round body having a height of about 28 cm. above the soil, measured below the flower clusters. The floral persistance is very good with a lasting quality of about 17 to 18 days and the whole plant shows resistance against botrytis.

  • Patent number: PP7410
Abstract: A new Geranium cultivar particularly distinguished by the large size of its flower clusters carried on strong, upright stems well above a compact foliage mass of medium green color, the foliage mass having a height of about 28 cm. and the flower stalks being of a length of about 18 to 20 cm. so that the flower clusters will stand at an average height of from 5 to 10 cm. above the foliage body. The florets are rather large having an average diameter of about 5.2 cm. and a definitely hot pink coloration and there is a sufficient number of florets in each cluster to make the cluster group provide a very brilliant coloration to enhance the entire floral display of this geranium plant.

  • Patent number: PP7494
Abstract: A new low growing Geranium cultivar particularly distinguished by its profuse and continuous production of relatively large flower clusters of about 10 cm. in diameter and comprised of large florets of a roseine purple color and having a diameter of about 5.2 cm., the flower clusters being carried on stalks that are only about 13 to 14 cm. long extending through foliage having relatively small leaves of medium to light green color and without zoning. Thus this plant provides a compact growing novelty geranium that always looks fresh. In September the plant reaches a height of about 23 cm., exclusive of the flowers, and is thus well fitted for bedding, or balcony and container adaption. The color is also new in the geranium market.

  • Patent number: PP8265
Abstract: A new and distinctive Geranium variety particularly distinguished by profuse production of mandarin red colored flowers which form medium size round clusters of 40 to 50 florets. The cluster stalk stands upright holding the flower clusters above the dark green zonated leaves in a bush of about 35 cm. in height. `Klemir` differs from other orange varieties in that it has small and very round clusters with many long lasting flowers in a deep salmon orange color. These eye catching clusters stand on rather long and strong, green stalks on a plant that grows compactly bushy and less than medium height. Previous orange flowered zonal geraniums grew higher. Additionally another distinction is the solid dark green leaves with their dark zonation and their good resistance against cold, heat and rainy weather.

  • Patent number: PP8382
Abstract: A new and distinct variety of Pelargonium peltatum which is particularly distinguished by the soft Phlox Pink color which floods from the closely massed clusters of the flowers and covers the plants like a veil due to the many flowers and the graceful growth of the plant. Each of the flowers has as many as nine florets, the petals of which have a Spirea Red center portion radiating outwardly over a major portion of the petal body with a Light Pink color which in the mass of the flowers presents an overall Phlox Pink coloration. In this new variety, each of the flowers, with its many florets, forms a loose cluster held in a mass above the intensive green color of the foliage by means of a strong stalk having a length of 12 to 13 cm.
