  • Patent number: 10167577
Abstract: A channel plate adapter is provided for use in a cover of a rotor housing of an open-end spinning device, wherein a rotor is rotatably arranged in the rotor housing. The channel plate adapter includes an output fiber channel that conveys fibers to the rotor, the output fiber channel having an inlet side where fibers enter and an outlet side from which the fibers exit towards the rotor. The output fiber channel further includes a bend between the inlet side and the outlet side, the bend splitting the output fiber channel into a first section formed between the inlet side and the bend, and a second section formed between the bend and the outlet side. The bend changes direction of the second section relative to the first section such that the second section is oriented against a direction of rotation of the rotor.

  • Publication number: 20170081789
Abstract: The invention relates to a channel plate adapter for use in a cover of a rotor housing of an open-end spinning device, whereas a rotor (2) is rotatably arranged in the rotor housing, with an output fiber channel (3), which conveys fibers (4) to the rotor (2), whereas the fibers (4) enter at an inlet side (5) of the output fiber channel (3), from which the fibers (4) exit at an outlet side (6) of the output fiber channel (3) to the rotor (2). In accordance with the invention, the output fiber channel (3) features a bend (7) between the inlet side (5) and the outlet side (6), whereas the bend (7) bends a second section (9) of the output fiber channel (3), which is formed between the bend (7) and the outlet side (6) in respect of a first section (8) of the the output fiber channel (3), which is formed between the first bend (7) and the inlet side, against the direction of rotation (DR) of the rotor (2).

  • Patent number: 9580841
Abstract: A false twist device for an open-end spinning device to introduce a false twist in a yarn has a largely tubular carcass and several false twist edges arranged behind one another in the yarn draw-off direction and inclined by an angle in the carcass with regard to the yarn draw-off direction. The false twist edges protrude in such a way into the interior of the tubular carcass that the yarn experiences a deflection on each one of the false twist edges. The several false twist edges are arranged offset in such a way in the carcass in circumferential direction that the yarn simultaneously experiences a spatial deflection compared to its regular yarn draw-off direction through the successive deflections on the several false twist edges.

Abstract: A false twist device (17) for an open-end spinning device (1) to introduce a false twist in a yarn (7) has a largely tubular carcass (20) and several false twist edges (19) arranged behind one another in yarn draw-off direction (G) and inclined by an angle (?) in the carcass (20) with regard to the yarn draw-off direction (G). The several false twist edges (19) protrude in such a way into the interior of the tubular carcass (20) that the yarn (7) experiences a deflection in each one of the false twist edges (19). Additionally, the several false twist edges (19) are arranged offset in such a way in the carcass (20) in circumferential direction that the yarn (7) simultaneously experiences a spatial deflection compared to its regular yarn draw-off direction (G) through the successive deflections on the several false twist edges (19).

  • Patent number: 8371098
Abstract: A fiber channel insert is applicable in a mounting hole of an opening roller housing of an open-end spinning arrangement, whereby the fiber channel insert comprises a fiber channel body and a section of the fiber channel. The fiber channel body extends with its major axis essentially transversely to a major axis of the fiber channel. An open-end spinning arrangement with a spinning element and an opening roller housing, in which an opening roller is arranged in a rotatable way includes a fiber channel that transports the fiber material to be spun from the opening roller to the spinning element. A section of the fiber channel is provided in a fiber channel insert that is insertable in a mounting opening of the opening roller housing, the fiber channel insert having a primarily cylindrical fiber channel body.

  • Patent number: 7404285
Abstract: An exchangeable adapter is provided for reducing the size of a trash removal opening of an opening roller housing in open-end spinning arrangements. The said adapter comprises two semi-spherical supporting surfaces at a distance to one another for positioning the adapter on corresponding rounded countersurfaces. The adapter comprises further a curved fiber guiding surface corresponding to the curve of an opening roller as well as a boundary wall for reducing the size of the trash removal opening arranged directly upstream of the fiber guiding surface. The adapter is made from profiled bars and cut to the required effective width. The fiber guiding surface can be provided with a recess which is connected with the external atmosphere and which permits the entry of air into the opening roller housing.
