The ends of the shaft are movable along cam tracks which impose movement of the shaft along a pre-defined trajectory. Through a suitable coupling mechanism, the rotation of the tube drives the movement of the shaft ends in the cam tracks and hence the movement of the shaft itself, while the shaft remains parallel to the tube's rotation axis.

The at least one wing header frame is connected to the center header frame by at least one parallel folding mechanism, which includes a lower parallel beam and an upper parallel hydraulic piston substantially parallel to the lower parallel beam.

Each of the crop conveyors of each stripper device is arranged between two adjacent stripper devices. The crop conveyors comprise a movable closed transport surface for conveying the separated corn ears or seed heads by moving the closed transport surface in a direction of conveyance which is parallel to the closed transport surface. The transport surfaces of the crop conveyors are arranged at a level below blocking surfaces of the deck plates adjacent to the crop conveyors.
