Abstract: A punching tool comprises a plurality of knives, which constitute an annular array and are provided with wedge-shaped cutting edges. Each knife is vertically adjustably secured to a vertical knife holder. Adjacent knife holders are detachably interconnected by a projection of one knife holder and a groove, formed in an adjacent knife holder and by a screw, which extends through a bore in the projection and is screwed in a tapped bore at the bottom of the groove.

Abstract: An angled cutter for cutting stacks of paper or the like comprises two blade assemblies, each of which is formed with a cutting edge portion which is tapered only on one side. Each blade assembly has a solid inside surface. The blade assemblies are self-supporting and detachably connected. At the joint between the two blade assemblies, each of the tapered surfaces is ground off slightly more toward the joint-defining edges and the cutting edge than along the remaining portion of the cutting edge so that a rake is formed at the corner.

Abstract: Apparatus for manufacturing and wrapping labels comprises a table, feeding means which are intermittently operable to move a stack of sheets on said table in two directions that are at right angles to each other to blanking means comprising a blanking for severing a stack of blanks from the stack of sheets, whereafter labels can be punched out of the stack of blanks by means of a punching tool and when taken from a stack can be wrapped by wrapping means. The blanking knife of the blanking means is outwardly spaced from a punching plate and together with the latter is recessed in a portion of the table which succeeds the portion for guiding the stack of sheets. The blanking knife is moved against the stack of sheets from underneath. A blanking die and pressure plate and a guide for the material which has been blanked and punched are arranged one over the other and over the blanking knife. Said guide consists of a punching knife, which cooperates with the punching plate.

Abstract: Apparatus for manufacturing and wrapping labels comprising blanking means for cutting blanks from a stack of sheets, punching means for punching the stacks of blanks, and wrapping means for wrapping stacks of labels. A table is provided which carries a conveyor. The table and conveyor serve to intermittently move a stack of sheets in two directions, which are at right angles to each other. Severing means are provided, which comprise a blanking tool and a punching tool, which act in a vertical succession. Wrapping means succeed the severing means and are disposed below the same.
