Abstract: A book (10) to be used with a counter (12). The book (10) has a main page (14) and a plurality of apertured pages (16) each containing an aperture (18). The book (10) has a movable magnet which is located upon a moveable component located within the main page (14). The counter (12) also contains a magnet, and the two magnets attract one another through the pages of the book. It is intended that children place the counter (12) on the first page of the book and then move it into the apertures (18) in the apertured pages (16) by manipulating the moveable component; the counter will then pass through the apertures (18) as the child turns the apertured pages (16) of the book (10).
