  • Publication number: 20180264875
Abstract: In one example, we describe a method and system for cosmetic brush cleaning and drying. It solves all the problems mentioned for the other products in the industry. Our system cleans multiple brushes effectively at one time without user intervention. After cleaning, the device can be placed into a drying mode that dries the brushes many times faster than air-drying along. Also, a mechanism can be included that transitions the device from the cleaning mode to the drying mode without user intervention, thereby, creating a fully automated system. In addition, our system/example cleans brushes in only one minute. Our system has four sub-assemblies/sub-systems/main components: Power cord; Handle (which holds the makeup brushes during cleaning and drying); Base (which holds the cleaning solution); and Cradle (which fits between the base and the handle). Various examples and variations are also presented here.

  • Patent number: 9756932
Abstract: In one example, we describe a method and system for toothbrush sterilization and/or storage with better quality in terms of hygiene and convenience, where the brush head and the shaft that enter the user's mouth are never contacted by the chamber. Also, below the brush head and shaft, there is no chamber. If any drops of water were to fall off the brush head, they would fall all the way through the chamber and reside on the counter on which the chamber rests, which can be removed or cleaned easily later. In one example, we use a UV-C lamp as our sterilization technique. This selection has many advantages over the other sterilizations techniques. In one example, we use a single lamp, but that lamp is in a ring configuration (otherwise known as annular, torus, or donut), with good coverage of the toothbrush, from all angles.

  • Patent number: 9717325
Abstract: In one example, we describe a method and system for facial brush or body brush, for cleaning the skin. In one example, it utilizes distinct parts: a powered facial brush handle with the ability of offering both an oscillating and rotary setting, removable brush heads of varying materials and compositions, and a charging base station with a protective germicidal UVC sanitizing and drying chamber. User convenience is also central to our solution. All the functional actions of the protective germicidal UVC sanitizing and heating chamber are activated once the brush handle and brush head is placed within it, in one example. Mode control allows the user to choose the right setting for them, offering a mild setting for sensitive skin and normal for balanced skin types. A set duration of brush activation allows the user to orchestrate a complete cleaning. Various examples and variations are presented.
