  • Patent number: 10636084
Abstract: A method and system for implementing on-line financial institution services via a single physical and logical platform deploys global online banking applications in an environment in which the applications are built from a single source base and adapted to various business rules and languages associated with different regions, countries and businesses. Separate web apps are created for each individual business according to contextual attributes, and application servers running the context dependent web apps provide the interface between customers and banking functionality. The platform relies in part on reuse of appropriate components to achieve integration, as well as sharing of core services. As a result of the independent nature of business specific components, each business may require different versions of application software and may update or implement new components without affecting existing business components.

  • Patent number: 6587857
Abstract: A system and method for preparing and integrating operational data received from nodes on a network prior to loading the data onto a data warehouse. Operational data received from nodes on a network is transformed to produce an output file of integrated data records which are audited to ensure data contained in the records has not already been loaded to the data warehouse in a previous operation. Data previously loaded onto the data warehouse is compared with current operational data to be loaded to determine whether the status of any nodes in the network has changed. The audited integrated operational data and data indicating which nodes, if any, have changed status since the previous upload of data are provided with unique identification numbers and uploaded to the data warehouse. In a preferred embodiment, the data concerns transactions occurring on, and the status of, components in customer activated terminals or transactions occurring on home banking servers.

  • Publication number: 20020016771
Abstract: A method and system for producing advanced management information system information includes, for example, reading one or more transaction journal logs stored in a database for one or more financial institution applications, such as an account information application, a bill payment application, a transfer application, a customer service channel report application, and/or a standards compliance application, written in a pre-defined binary format to isolate a transaction message in a message buffer. The message contents are parsed out and written out into a flat-text file of Structured Query Language (SQL) records into an output file loadable into a database re-using at least one Visual Basic (VB) class used for creating the transaction journal log. The output file is stored, for example, in a relational database management system and can be used to produce various types of reports, including a number of standard reports.
