  • Patent number: 11927230
Abstract: A friction brake body for a friction brake of a motor vehicle, in particular a brake disk, includes a base body made in particular from gray cast iron and having at least one wear resistant layer formed on a friction contact surface of the base body. • Patent number: 11923621
Abstract: An electronic device may be provided with a phased antenna array on an antenna module. The array may include low band antennas and high band antennas that radiate at frequencies greater than 10 GHz. The module may include antenna layers, transmission line layers, and ground traces that separate the antenna layers from the transmission line layers. The low band antennas and the high band antennas may have radiators patterned onto the antenna layers. The radiators may be fed by transmission lines on the transmission line layers. The antenna layers may have a dielectric permittivity that is greater than the dielectric permittivity of the transmission line layers. This may serve to reduce the lateral footprint of the low band and high band antennas, which allows the antennas to be interleaved along a common linear axis in the phased antenna array, thereby minimizing the lateral footprint of the antenna module.

  • Publication number: 20230068737
Abstract: Types of metal component parts including a casing, a bezel, a buckle, parts for a watch band, etc. are made with the Metal Injection Molding (MIM) process. Each type of metal component part can be derived from an instance of a MIM blank corresponding to that particular type of metal component part formed from its corresponding injection molding tool. The MIM blank formed for the metal component part from the injection molding tool then has a portion of the MIM blank subtracted through a laser subtraction process to form an interim shape and geometry of the instance of the metal component part. The laser subtraction process is applied to the instance of the MIM blank for the metal component part when the instance of the MIM blank has not yet been sintered and hardened to a finished shape and geometry for that metal component part for the watch design.

  • Publication number: 20210026308
Abstract: Each type of metal component part for two or more watch designs can be derived from instances of that corresponding type of MIM blank for that component part, which is formed from a same injection molding tool (respectively for each type of component part). An example instance of the MIM blank formed for a type of component part then has at least a portion of the instance of the MIM blank subtracted through a CNC milling process to form an interim shape and geometry of an instance of the type of component part for a given watch design. The CNC milling process can be applied to the MIM blank for that component part when the MIM blank is in its interim shape and geometry and has not yet been hardened to a finished shape and geometry of an instance of that type of component part for the watch design.

  • Patent number: 10039357
Abstract: An expandable/collapsible bag that can be configured into three different sizes—small medium, and large. It is of cylindrical shape, has three interconnected chambers, a zipper running along its entire length, three handles on top, and two drawstrings. When the bag is in its large configuration, all chambers are expanded and accessible. The two side chambers can collapse inwards into the middle chamber, allowing the size of the bag to be reduced. This can be done by collapsing and pushing the material of each side chamber into chamber B past the line of their adjacent drawstrings. Once the collapsed material from each side chamber is completely inside chamber B, then, their adjacent drawstrings can be cinched or pulled tight to close the ends of the bag. This keeps the collapsed material from the side chambers inside the middle chamber and prevents the bag from expanding when in use.

  • Patent number: 7584871
Abstract: A grease output device for an electrical grease gun has a body, a double-cam member and a driving member. The body has a holder and a seat mounted with the holder. The double-cam member connects to the body and has a driven unit and a driving unit. The driven unit has a driven gear and two cams misaligning with the driven gear. The driving gear has two rings mounted around the cams and two pistol rods connecting to the rings. The driving unit has a driving gear engaging with the driven gear. The driving member connects to the body to rotate the driving gear so the driven gear is rotated to push the rings. Hence, the grease can flow out of the body successively by the pistol two pistol rods moving back and forth alternatively.

  • Patent number: 6802623
Abstract: A light seat for a portable light has a handle, a light fixture and a universal adjustment assembly. The universal adjustment assembly pivotally connects the light fixture to the handle. The universal adjustment assembly has an adjustment sphere, two lateral adjustment devices and a longitudinal adjustment device. The adjustment sphere is pivotally mounted in the housing. The lateral adjustment devices are rotatably mounted in two non-circular recesses in the adjustment sphere and are securely connected to the light fixture. The longitudinal adjustment device is attached to the adjustment sphere and is rotatably mounted in the handle. With such a light seat, the light fixture can be adjusted relative to the handle in any direction, and the use of a portable light with the light seat is versatile.
