Abstract: Provided are a content search method and system, and more particularly, a content search method and system which enable a user to easily access desired search results by reducing the need to input a keyword again or navigate through pages of search results. The content search method includes: receiving a keyword and extracting a list of contents which correspond to the received keyword; adjusting relative weights of one or more attribute information of the contents by using a user interface which can adjust the relative weights; and sequentially listing the contents based on the adjusted weights and providing the contents accordingly.

Abstract: According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided an image display apparatus including: a selecting unit receiving instructions for selecting progress bars; a storage unit storing information on the progress bars including marks for helping a user to search predetermined scenes of content; and a control unit extracting a scene corresponding to the mark of the selected progress bar from the storage unit, and displaying the extracted scene.

Abstract: A video tagging method and a video apparatus using the video tagging method are provided. The video apparatus includes a player module which plays a video; a face recognition module which recognizes a face of a character in the video; a tag module which receives a tagging key signal for tagging a scene of the video including the character and maps a tagging key corresponding to the tagging key signal and a number of scenes including the face recognized by the face recognition module; and a storage module which stores the result of mapping performed by the tag module.

Abstract: An image reading device and an image forming apparatus having the same, that can prevent unnecessary wear of components or damage of a document when a simplex scanning operation is carried out. The image reading device includes a first reading unit and a second reading unit. The first reading unit includes a first scan unit to scan a first surface of a document, a first press member mounted while opposing the first scan unit, and a first elastic member to bias the first scan unit or the first press member to closely contact the document with the first scan unit. The second reading unit includes a second scan unit to scan a second surface of the document, a second press member mounted while opposing the second scan unit, and a second elastic member to bias the second scan unit or the second press member to closely contact the document with the second scan unit. The second scan unit and the second press member are separated from each other by a lifting device.
