Abstract: An extension arm for a digital media device having a camera communicating captured video to a viewable display, such as a smartphone, cellphone, or digital camera, is provided to extend a user's reach for media capture. The device features a telescopic member configured at a distal end to engage with the intended media device. The engagement can include a direct magnetic engagement to the media device, or employment of a protective or decorative case at the distal end of the member to engage the media device.
