  • Publication number: 20240099290
Abstract: A wick for a liquid electric vaporiser is disclosed. The wick comprises charcoal, inorganic minerals and water. Furthermore, the wick has a lower end and an upper end and is characterized in that the wick has a porosity between 24% and 44%, more preferably between 28% and 42%, and most preferably between 31% and 40% by volume. The wick exhibits a permeability between 3.2 and 9 mm per hour, more preferably between 3.8 and 8 mm per hour, and most preferably between 4 and 6 mm per hour, wherein the permeability is a measure of a vertical travel speed of a solvent liquid to travel from the lower end to the upper end of the wick by capillary action when the lower end of the wick is placed in a pool of the solvent liquid having a viscosity of between 1 and 10 cP, in particular between 1 and 4 cP, and a pool depth of about 2-4 mm. A liquid electric vaporiser including said wick is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11298659
Abstract: The water dispensing device of the present invention with the given flow path of water and the control circuit configured store at least two threshold TDS values XA and XB, wherein XA is a higher TDS value than XB; and to drain water from the treatment unit through the drain line, when TDS value sensed is higher than XA, and alternately when the sensed value of TDS is less than XB then direct water from the reject line into the first recycle line; it was seen that the TDS of the output water of the device was in a constant range and the device of the present invention also contributed to minimizing the wastage of water by allowing recycling of water through the reject line of the treatment unit.

  • Publication number: 20020197379
Abstract: A process for making a concentrated cold water soluble tea product. The process involves extracting tea material with water to give a tea extract, deleafing the tea extract, concentrating the deleafed tea extract, decreaming the concentrated tea extract, concentrating the decreamed tea extract to give a concentrated cold water soluble tea product. An anionic colloidal material is added between the deleafing step and the decreaming step to generate colour and minimise haze. The tea concentrate can be dried to give an instant tea powder or used to make ready to drink tea with good colour and clarity.
