Abstract: An antiperspirant stick composition can include a synthetic wax, a fatty alcohol, a hydrophilic surfactant having a hydrophilic-lipophilic balance (HLB) value greater than 10, a plasticizer present in an amount to minimize hardening of the composition due to contact with an aqueous composition, and an effective amount of an antiperspirant active agent. The hydrophilic surfactant can be present in an amount sufficient to minimize perspiration-induced discoloration of fabric in contact with the composition. The fatty alcohol and the antiperspirant active agent can be present at a weight ratio of from about 2:1 to about 1:2.
