  • Patent number: 8070016
Abstract: A pouch is formed out of two sheets of plastic heat sealed over most of the edge length. The pouch has an expanding bottom feature and has a pouring spout formed by raised impressions in the corresponding sheets of plastic that form matching embossments. When the pouch is squeezed, the embossments open further apart to form a larger fluid passage at the outlet. The outlet of the pouch is opposite the bottom of the pouch and in at least one embodiment has a region on both sides of the outlet that are kept free from heat sealing during manufacture. The outlet also has a frangible line of weakness for easy opening. The outlet passage has two sets of embossments that meet along a center line to more fully expand the central portion of the pouch.

  • Publication number: 20090134185
Abstract: The invention provides a pouch for refill of contents 10 manufactured by forming a bag from a base material film made of a flexible package material such as a resin film so that a nozzle 16 for discharging the contents is formed so as to project obliquely upward at a corner of a body part 11. In the pouch 10, in order to prevent closing of a discharge port 16a at the time of discharging the contents with a simpler structure and easily transfer the contents to another container such as a plastic bottle or a glass bottle, a ridge line guiding part 17 is formed in a base part 16a of a nozzle 16 so that a ridge line 20, formed in the surface of the base material film when the pouch is pressed from the inside by the contents filled, is guided along a center line of a the nozzle.

  • Patent number: 5997426
Abstract: A variable speed power transmission apparatus having an epicycle reduction gear device that has planetary gears whose shafts are supported at equal intervals circumferentially thereof by carriers fixed to an output shaft thereof. The planetary gears are meshed between external teeth of a sun gear fixed to an input shaft connected to a drive source and internal teeth of a ring gear. The transmission apparatus also includes a variable speed hydraulic driver system that is driven by oil pressure generated by the drive source in such a way as to be variably and reversibly rotated by the oil pressure. An output shaft of the variable speed oil pressure driver system is connected to the ring gear in an interlocking relation to thereby cause forward rotation, reverse rotation or stoppage of the ring gear by the variable speed hydraulic driver system. Thus, the speed of the ring gear can be changed in a non-step manner.

  • Patent number: 5900140
Abstract: In a fuel filter module for introducing fuel from a fuel inlet into a casing and for removing foreign matter from the fuel by passing the fuel through a fuel member and for discharging the fuel through a fuel outlet to the outside of the casing, and the casing is formed to have a D-shaped cross section. With this construction, the outer diameter of the casing is not increased even when an accessory is assembled on the outside plane wall of the D-shaped casing. The casing accommodates a filter member of C-shaped cross section. The center of a C-shaped sealing member provided for sealing the upper edge of the filter member is offset from the center of the casing. By thus offsetting, sufficient areas for fuel inlet and outlet can be ensured without increasing the size of the casing.
