    Abstract: A method for repairing wall diseases of an earthen architecture includes the following specific steps: S1: selecting raw material components, and mixing the raw material components to prepare a mixed material; S2: mixing the mixed material with plain soil at a certain ratio to form a repair material; and S3: mixing the repair material with water at a certain ratio to prepare slurry, adjusting the ratio of the repair material to water to prepare the slurry based on diseases of the earthen site, putting the slurry into a pressure grouting machine, and repairing the diseases of the earthen site by using the pressure grouting machine. The repair material prepared in the method features excellent performance, stable volume and good compatibility with a site. The method based on the repair material has certain practical significance in repairing diseases of the earthen site.

According to one aspect of the present invention, a video image is analyzed and a region of interest (ROI) and a region of non-interest (non-ROI) are identified. By comparing the non-ROI image with that of a previous image, a background ignored identifier is created indicating whether the non-ROI can be ignored during encoding and decoding processes. Based on the status of the background ignored identifier, the encoder encodes the images into a basic layer (BL) and an enhanced layer (EL), and transmits the coded bit streams along with the identifier to a decoder. The decoder reconstructs the image based on the identifier and the BL and the EL bit streams.

    Abstract: Techniques pertaining to a security system are disclosed. According to one aspect of the techniques, secured communication of video data between a monitoring system including a monitoring camera and a monitoring terminal is established by encrypting the video data. The monitoring camera is configured to encrypt digital image data before the image data is transmitted to the monitoring terminal. Instead of using commonly used encryption schemes, encryption rules are generated in accordance with an encryption key corresponding to a predetermined encryption algorithm. On the side of the monitoring terminal, decryption rules are generated in accordance with a received description key corresponding to a predetermined decryption algorithm. Depending on implementation, the image data may be encrypted/decrypted line by line, block by block or frame by frame.

According to one aspect of the techniques, the method for detecting pulldown field sequence comprises receiving a field sequence, combining two adjacent fields into one frame, detecting whether the combined frame has a combing phenomenon, if there is such a combing phenomenon, and determining a number of how many times the combing phenomenon occurs continuously in the combined frame. Based on the number, it can be determined whether the field sequence is a normal field sequence or a pulldown field sequence.

According to one aspect of the present invention, the image data is divided into a plurality of data blocks that are then scrambled in accordance with a given sequence. Without knowing the order of the given sequence, the image data, even if received by an unauthorized party, is not legible. On the other end, the rearranged image data is received in a receiving device that is configured to divide the image data into a corresponding plurality of data blocks, and rearrange the blocks according to the given sequence to recover the original image data.

According to one aspect of the present invention, an edge detection operation is performed as follows: 1) calculating pixel difference flags for a plurality of slanted modes when performing interpolation of two rows in an interlaced video image or field; 2) calculating a weighted score for each slanted direction mode direction in step 1 using a target pixel as a center point; and 3) selecting one of the slanted directions by determining whether the object edge crossed the target pixel using the weighted scores in each slanted direction for the target pixel and the object edge angel resulting in one of interpolation schemes.
