Abstract: A lens holding arrangement for lenses of an illumination device for vehicles is provided. The holding arrangement includes a surrounding body which surrounds a number of lenses arranged coaxially to each other and at an axial distance to each other. The holding arrangement also includes a number of attachment elements on an inner surface to which the lenses make contact with a front or back edge. The surrounding body is segmented with a number of segments that surround in each case the lenses in a circumferential angle range (?), and with fasteners for fastening the segments.

Abstract: A method is provided for joining a pin member of a first component to a second component with a cavity, using an adhesive, to fasten the pin in a target position extending at least partially into the cavity. A distance (D) is provided between the bottom surface of the cavity and the facing end of the pin. A flexible spacer is positioned on the bottom surface of the cavity. The thickness of the spacer equals or exceeds the distance (D) between the bottom surface of the cavity and the facing end of the pin in the target position. The adhesive is filled into the cavity onto the flexible spacer, and the pin is positioned in the target position. The adhesive is cured to obtain a joint between the pin and the second component.

Abstract: A lens bracket for accommodating a lens in a headlamp and a headlamp having a lens bracket of this type, said headlamp being formed substantially by a housing made of a base body and a lens cover, and wherein the lens bracket is designed as a plastic body. It is inventively provided that the plastic body has a metal surface element which is designed in such a manner that the plastic body is protected from radiation incoming into the housing through the lens cover and entering through the lens.

Abstract: A projection headlight for motor vehicles has a reflector device, a plurality of light sources, at least one of said light sources assigned to the reflector device. A lens device is arranged in front of the reflector device in the main radiation direction. A cover device in the area of a focal point of the lens device has a cover shaft rotatable across the main radiation direction of the rotating axis main source. The cover shaft is provided with a number of glare edges and/or glare surfaces to adjust light distributors having a number of various cut-off lines. The light sources are arranged on a common light source carrier, the carrier extending substantially perpendicular to the main radiation direction and the carrier being configured to fasten onto a flat side of a heat sink.
