Publication number: 20100139828Abstract: A vehicle tire that automatically replenishes air pressure is described. The vehicle tire includes a tire portion that surrounds a wheel and is filled with air, and an air pressure replenishing member that is arranged at the inside of the tire portion and coupled with a portion of the outer surface of the wheel to replenish the air pressure when the air pressure in the tire portion is low. The vehicle tire may automatically replenish the air pressure when the air pressure in the tire portion is too low by the air pressure replenishing member, and thus fuel efficiency and driving performance of the vehicle may be maintained at a constant level.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 10, 2009Publication date: June 10, 2010Applicant: HYUNDAI MOTOR COMPANYInventor: Soo Hyuk LEE

Publication number: 20050096825Abstract: An apparatus for preventing a vehicle collision by using radio communication includes an accelerator pedal sensor for detecting the manipulation state of an accelerator pedal. A control unit receives a signal detected by the accelerator pedal sensor and determines whether the vehicle is in a dangerous condition for outputting a relevant control signal. A radio communication transmitting/receiving module receives the control signal from the control unit and transmits or receives the information to or from vehicles of its dangerous condition. A Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) receives the control signal of the control unit and maintains the brake system in a standby operating mode. When the information of a prospective hazardous condition is transmitted from the front vehicle, the brake systems of rear vehicles are pre-pressured and are shifted to a standby operating mode, thereby reducing the braking distance of the vehicles and preventing vehicle accidents.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 4, 2004Publication date: May 5, 2005Inventor: Soo-Hyuk Lee
