    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for producing an eco-friendly artificial leather by treating a polyurethane artificial leather with an aqueous stain resistant coating agent, and an aqueous stain resistant coated polyurethane artificial leather produced thereby. Without organic solvents in the stain resistant treatment process therefor, the artificial leather is eco-friendly and exhibits a uniform stain resistant effect thereacross uniformly due to the uniform and rapid drying of the stain resistant coating layer even in the absence of heating at a high temperature, and thus the coating layer is not thermally strained.
