  • Publication number: 20240144459
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an aircraft and to a method using this aircraft to inspect equipment in coking plants for detecting sources of error. The aircraft has at least one inspection device for inspecting surfaces of the equipment that are to be inspected, and an airspace, distanced from one of the surfaces to be inspected, and at least one transmitting and receiving device for data communication with at least other aircraft or at least one external analysis device for detecting the sources of error. The method comprises converting the detected phototechnical and optical data, in particular 2D data, into a 3D thermal point cloud by means of a conversion unit of the analysis device.

  • Patent number: 10416835
Abstract: A method, apparatus, and computer-readable medium for a user interface (UI) for a head-mountable display (HMD). The method includes generating three-dimensional content for display by the HMD. The method also includes identifying three-dimensional coordinates for UI elements of the UI that are associated with the three-dimensional content. The three-dimensional coordinates identified within an angular range for the UI that includes a viewable region of a user while wearing the HMD. Additionally, the method includes, in response to a user input, displaying the UI elements at the identified three-dimensional coordinates over the three-dimensional content. The method may further include, after displaying the UI elements, moving the display of the UI elements on the HMD in a direction corresponding to a movement direction of the HMD in response to detecting movement of the HMD corresponding to movement of a head of the user wearing the HMD.

  • Patent number: 10043487
Abstract: A method and system is provided for using a split screen mode. The method includes composing a plurality of surfaces into a final surface to display in a display unit of a user equipment. The display unit is operable to display a single screen mode and a split screen mode. The method also includes, responsive to identifying the split screen mode, splitting the display unit into a first screen and a second screen. The method also includes retrieving a set of parameters associated with the split screen mode. The method also includes displaying the final surface in both the first screen and the second screen according to the set of parameters.

  • Publication number: 20170180676
Abstract: Systems and techniques for an automatic event recorder are described herein. An input stream may be written to a memory buffer in an overwrite mode. The input stream may be received from a sensor array of a wearable device. A first portion of the input stream written to the memory buffer may be protected upon obtaining an indication of occurrence of a start event. The memory buffer may be configured to receive a second portion of the input stream in a write mode subsequent to the occurrence of the start event. The memory buffer may be reconfigured to receive a third portion of the input stream in the overwrite mode upon obtaining an indication of the occurrence of the stop event.
