Abstract: Embodiments are directed to methods and systems for capturing data of a database record related to an event. Each record can comprise a record of a service provided to a consumer by a service provider of a plurality of service providers and a records management and processing system can comprise an intermediary between systems of the plurality of service providers and systems of a plurality of responsible entities. The records management and processing system can predict possible missing data in one or more records of the plurality of records in the database, select at least one record of the one or more records of the plurality of records predicted to have possible missing data, and initiate, for each selected record, a workflow for further processing of each selected record. The further processing can be directed to collecting the missing data.

Each record can comprise a record of a service provided to a consumer and can include a code related to the service. Goals can be defined for the validating of the data assigned to the one or more fields. Each goal can be related to a different possible result of the validating of the data assigned to the one or more fields. A weight can be defined for each goal. Records can be selected using a reinforcement learning algorithm and based on an expected return value for further processing of the selected one or more records. The expected return value can be based on the weight for each goal and a probability of satisfying each defined goal by further processing of the record. The selected records can then be processed according to one or more workflows.

The system determines the impact on the individual's nutritional health by determining whether the nutritional content of a consumable falls within a range customized to the individual. The disclosed system thus tracks and displays the impact of consumables on individuals personalized nutritional requirements. The disclosed system also generates nutritional advice, enabling the individual to discover the impact of changes to nutritional habits on the individual's overall nutritional health. In an embodiment, the disclosed system determines and displays consumables that would need to be consumed to meet an individual's nutritional health needs over a specified period, such as in a given day.

Abstract: An adaptive method for estimating the selling price for an item at auction in order to set a reserve. The method calculates the selling price as a function of selling prices for items previously-sold at auction and differential values attributable to feature differences between the item to be sold and comparative items previously sold. Distance metrics are calculated by comparing the item to be sold with each item in the set of comparative items, and a subset of most similar items is selected according to the calculated distance metrics. A weighting function is then calculated for each item in the subset based on its respective distance metric value, and the selling price is estimated as a function of the weighting functions and the differential values. The differential values are modeled as a linear dynamical system and updated using a Kalman filter as a function of an actual sales price for the item to be sold and a current estimate of uncertainty for the differential values.

Abstract: A method for allocating vehicles to auction sites. An inventory database stores information uniquely identifying a plurality of items and associating each of the items with one of a plurality of available auction sites. Constraints relating to the movement of the items are stored in a constraints database. Items are identified which are available to be moved from a current location to one of the auction sites. A profit value is estimated for each available move. A move is identified for one item having a highest estimated profit above an identified threshold and meeting related constraints. This move is selected, and profits are reestimated for remaining items to be moved. The selection steps are repeated until no remaining available moves are feasible according to the threshold and constraints. Once all feasible moves have been selected, information associated with the items and moves is transmitted to a client device.
