Abstract: The present disclosure discloses methods and systems for managing different versions of a document in a document management system. The method includes receiving a request at the document management system from a user to access a document, wherein the document management system stores multiple versions of the document along with respective location information. Further, the method includes checking whether a location option is enabled at the document management system. Furthermore, based on the check, a version of the document matching the location of the user from where the user is accessing it, is presented to the user, via a user interface, for further action. The methods and systems further allow the user to upload one or more documents versions, where the document versions are stored along with location information for easy access, later retrieval and/or use.

A pre-defined file is received from a user, where the file includes multiple URLs such that each URL represents a cloud URL for accessing a document stored over that cloud location. Then, each URL is analyzed to segregate the URL into a cloud location URL and a document name. A pre-defined user-friendly view is generated based on the cloud locations, where the pre-defined view includes a common cloud URLs, corresponding document names, and print options, for user's selection. Based on the user's selection, one or more documents stored at corresponding cloud locations are printed without requiring the user to access any cloud location URL.

The one or more pre-defined options can be quality related option or non-quality related option. The selected pre-defined option is analyzed and based on the analysis, an admin user is notified in real-time to take an appropriate action.

The new single URL is created such that the new single URL when accessed by the user allows the user to access multiple scanned documents at the same time without needing the user to access multiple URLs. This way, the user can access multiple scanned documents through a single URL i.e., the new single URL.
