  • Publication number: 20240136180
Abstract: A method for growing nanocrystalline diamond (NCD) on Ga2O3 to provide thermal management in Ga2O3-based devices. A protective SiNx interlayer is deposited on the Ga2O3 before growth of the NCD layer to protect the Ga2O3 from damage caused during growth of the NCD layer. The presence of the NCD provides thermal management and enables improved performance of the Ga2O3-based device.

  • Publication number: 20230325495
Abstract: Techniques are described herein that are capable of detecting an algorithmic attack against a hosted artificial intelligence (AI) system based on inputs (e.g., queries) and outputs of the hosted AI system. In a first example, a feature-based classifier model is used to generate a classification score based on features that are derived from numerical representations of the queries and the outputs, and an algorithmic attack is detected based on the classification score being greater than or equal to a score threshold. In a second example, a transformer-based model is used to generate a vector by providing a multivariate time series, which is based on attribute(s) of the inputs and attribute(s) of the outputs, as an input to the transformer-based model, and an algorithmic attack is detected based on a distance between the vector and a point corresponding to a reference vector being less than or equal to a distance threshold.

  • Publication number: 20060213936
Abstract: A method of using carnival beads to create twisted bead structures. A plurality of primary bead strands are twisted together in order to create quaternary structures having particular three-dimensional configurations. The structures can be interlocked together to form larger structures.

  • Patent number: 6991141
Abstract: Methods of using carnival beads to create twisted bead structures. A plurality of primary bead strands and shorter Prep pieces are twisted together in order to create quaternary structures having particular three-dimensional configurations. The structures can be interlocked together to form larger structures. The twisted beads can be coated with a protective coating.

  • Publication number: 20040164746
Abstract: A method and apparatus for detecting volumetric moisture content and conductivity in various media based on the time-domain reflectometry (TDR) system disclosed in patent application Ser. No. 09/945,528. As in patent application Ser. No. 09/945,528, successive square waves are generated and transmitted on a transmission line through a medium of interest, and a characteristic received waveform is analyzed by continuously sampling multiple received waveforms at short time intervals. Unlike the former system, the system in this disclosure does not house the transmitting and receiving circuitry on the same circuit board, but uses a bistatic approach to separate transmitting and receiving modules. A timing signal is coincidentally sent with the transmitted waveform along a separate shielded transmission line. The effects of dispersion caused by the conductive and dielectric properties of the medium on the waveform sent on the unshielded transmission line are extrapolated.
